"Our first hunting trip!" Thunder that promised storm, (Thunder)
cried.
"I can hardly belive it!" Sky before the sun sleeps, (Sky) Thunder's sister, walied.
Her wail echoed across the mountains. Thunder took a deep breath and smelled the fresh mountain smell.
"Be quiet. You'll scare all the prey away." Stormfur purred.
Thunder and Sky were the children of Stormfur and Brook, and they had just become To-be's.
Thunder was a dark gray tabby with ice blue eyes.
Sky was a cream colured tabby with white paws, chest and underbelly with orange eyes.
"You're not going to catch anything with all that noise!" Brook teased.
A impatient yowl came from their mentors.
"We better go." Sky said.

Thunder pounced after a rabbit, but it got away.
"Darn!" Thunder muttered. Then their was a scuttle in a bush, and Thunder crouched, waiting. then another rabbit dashed away. Thunder was on it's heels. Thunder striked, and the body went limp under his paws.
"Yes!" Thunder said. Just then Sky came through the bushes, carryig a fish.
"You caught a rabbit?!" Sky said in disbelif.
"You better belive it." Thunder said, holding his head high. Then they heard footsteps, too big to be a cat, or a mountain loin.
They heard strange voices.
Then some weird creatures appeared. They walked on two legs.
"What are they?" Thunder meowed, a little too loudly. The creatures heard them.
They made weird sounds and chased after them.
"Run!" Sky screeched. They ran as fast as they could, abandoning the prey. They were just about to get away when Sky tripped over a rock. One of the twolegs grabbed her.
"Let me go!" Sky hissed, kicking and scrathing furiously.
"SKY!!" Thunder screamed and turned around to watch her being dragged away in dismay. Then the other twoleg grabbed him and took him toward a monster. A cat appered in the clearing.
It was Stormfur!
"NOOO!!" Stormfur wailed and raced after the rumbling monster.
"Help us, dad! Help!" Thunder cried as he scrathed at the window. But the monster moved faster and faster, and Stormfur got smaller and smaller.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Stormfur shouted into the gray clouds. It began to rain.

Thunder and Sky had fallen asleep. The ride was very long. The sound of thunder woke them up. The monster had come to a stop, and they were surronded by a completely diffrent envoiurment.
Fences divided the land and large, hoofed animals lay around inside the fences. A lake and a forest streched in the distance.
"Where are we?" Sky yawned.
"Very far from home." Thunder replied. Then the sound of loud clicking made them look around. The twolegs were getting out.
"This is our chance." Sky whispered. They crawled slowly toward the doors of the front. The door screeched as it opened.
"Now!" Thunder yowled. They sprang out of the monster and ran like mad. The twolegs screeched and chased after them. But this time the cats were quicker. They got far away from them quick. The cats stopped in some rolling hills.
"I think we lost them." Sky panted. But then a cat pounced on Thunder.
Thunder screeched and kicked furoiusly. But the small cat knew better. he prepared to bite into his throat.
"Stop!" A voice yolwed.
It was another cat, but older.
"Dawnpaw, I told you that a warrior doesn't need to kill another to win his battles.
"Sorry." Dawnpaw mewed. Two more cats, one Thunder's and Sky's age, and another older, walked into the clearing.
"But you are still on WindClan territory." The she cat grolwed.
"WindClan?" Thunder and Sky echoed.
"Don't play dumb!" the smaller cat hissed.
"Where do you come from?" The other cat asked.
"The Tribe of Rushing Water." Sky said proudly.
The cat's expressions grew shocked and they gathered in a circle. They excanged a few words before turning back to them.
"You will come back with us. You are now WindClan prisnors." The she-cat snarled.

Ivypaw bounded across the moonlit shore eagerly.
"Watch out!" Berrynose warned. Ivypaw slipped on a rock and dived toward the lake.
Whitewing grabbed her by the scruff and put her back on dry land.
"Silly furball." Whitewing purred and licked Ivypaw on the forehead.
Tonight was the night of the gathering, also Ivypaws first.
Her sister, Dovepaw, stayed behind because she was caught trying to pull a prank on the elders: by putting mousebile in their moss.
Ivypaw still remembered Mousefur giving Dovepaw a good lecture.

"Pay more respect to your elders!" Mousefur had yowled and swiped her ear good. Dovefur had yepled and ran way. Dovepaws ear was now scarred and dried blood crusted over the scratch.

"It could have gotten infected!" Jayfeather had protested when he felt the bad cut.
Of course, Mousefur had not gotten away with that either.

"Yes she did something wrong, but that doesn't mean Dovepaw desrved to get a infected scratch either, Mousefur." Firestar had said.

Ivypaws daydream was inturpted when they came to the fallen tree.
"Hurry up." Dustpelt hissed. Ivypaw jumped onto the log and almost slipped, but she grasped her footing. She carefully placed paw after paw. She was just about to make it to the other side when she slipped. Ivypaw managed to land on the shore, thankfully.
But the pebbles were still a rough landing.
"Ow." She mewed as she licked her paw.
She joined the others in the clearing. ShadowClan and WindClan had arrived, but RiverClan was still missing.
"Hey Ivypaw! Lets go talk to the other apprentices!" Rosepaw meowed cheerfully.
Rosepaw and Toadpaw had been apprentices for a little longer then Ivypaw and her sister. Ivypaw approched the other aprentices cautouisly while Rosepaw was a little more confident.
"Hi, Rosepaw!" A hray she-cat called. By her scent Ivypaw could tell she's from ShadowClan.
"Hi Dawnpaw. This is Ivypaw." Rosepaw said and guestured toward Ivypaw with her tail.
"Hi. Nice to meet you." Dawnpaw said before turning away.
"Thats just rude." Ivypaw mewed.
"Dawnpaw has a short attention span. Thats all. Lets go meet the other apprentices." Rosepaw said.
Soon Ivypaw met all the apprentices.
Dawnpaw,Flamepaw and Tigerpaw from ShadowClan.
Twilghtpaw,Amberpaw,Swiftpaw,Dawnpaw, Thunderpaw and Skypaw from WindClan. Even though Thunderpaw and Skypaw had a scent she didn't regonize.
"You don't smell like WindClan." Ivypaw commented.
Skypaw and Thunderpaw looked around before they spoke.
"Thats because were not from WindClan. A WindClan patrol kidnapped us and turned us into WindClan apprentices because there was so little for them." Thunder said sadly.
"Oh." Ivypaw said. She didn't know what to say. They looked so sad, and Ivypaw knew just from the looks on their faces, and the look of hostilitly from the other cats, that they didn't belong here.
Then she met the other apprentices.
Streampaw, a golden brown tom, Beetlepaw,Grasspaw, Pricklepaw, Petalpaw.
"Iam the son of Leopardstar." Streampaw said proudly.
"And you?" Ivypaw said, turning to the other apprentices.
Ivypaw paid no attention to Streampaws boasting, after all, she was kin of Firestar.
"Oh, our mother is Icewing." Petalpaw mewed.
"What about you?" Grasspaw sneered.
"Whitewing and Birchfall." Ivypaw said, flinching under Grasspaws stare.
"You mean your Firestars kin?" Streampaw said nervously.
"Yes. Guess your not the only one related to clan leader huh?" Ivypaw gloated. Streampaw hung his head.
Then Firestar yolwed for the gathering to start. Every cat gathered around, but then a bright light glowed from nerby.
"Whats that?" Onestar gasped. Then the light exploed to reveal a white light, with a picture of a valley in it.
The cats screeched in panic and ran way.
"Stop!" Firestar yowled, but his voice was drowned with the paniced wails around. the wind seemed to grow stronger and stronger. Ivypaw had to dig her claws in to the ground to hold on. Some of the other apprentices lost grip. Thunderpaw, Skypaw, Amberpaw, Twilghtpaw,Streampaw,Flamepaw and Tigerpaw fell victim to the hole. They dissaperd inside. Then Ivypaw fell in too. And then the light flickered, and went out as the hole vanished.

Oh no!

Didn't Ivypaw came from ShadowClan?

No. Ivypaw is from ThunderClan.

No, I haven't read Sunrise yet. But I've read five books from the first series, Firestar's Quest, The Lost Warriors in Manga, Warriors: Power of Three: The Sight and Dark River. And now I'm reading Warriors: The New Prophecy: Midnight. And yes, I am still reading. So, please write more!

Jay tackled Spots and pinned her down.
"Okay! I surrender!" Spots cried.
Jay,Thistle,Mandy and Spots were children of Spyro and Cynder.
Jay was smoky gray with ice and fear as elments.
Spots was bubble-gum pink with purple spots with Poison and electricity as elements.
Thistle was dark purple with fire and shadow as elemnts.
Mandy was red with purple stripes with earth and wind as elemets.

Mandy attacked from a tree.
"Surpise!!" She cried and pinned Spots. Spots lifted her off and the wrestled in the grass. Thistle came out of no where and rolled Jay away.
"Hey!" Jay protested.
Then Spyro landed in the grass with a deer.
"Supper!" Spyro called. The hatchlings seprated and raced toward the carcass.
After supper The hacthlings lay down beside Cynder and Cynder wrapped her tail around the hatchlings. Mandy eyelids drooped.
What a great life. Mandy thought as she fell asleep.

The next day the hatchlings wandered from home to explore.
"Are you sure this is a good idea, Thisltle?" Spots said nervously.
"It's fine. Think about the stuff well find." Thistle responded. They came to a cliff and they glided dwon carefully.
"What's that fort over there?" Jay wondered.
"Lets go find out!" Thistle said and raced across the meadow. Before they got there tall, spotted creatures were visble
Cheetahs! Mandy thought in alarm.
"Run!" Spots issed queitly. the hatchligs ran the other way and deeper into the forest. All the sudden there was a loud snap! Mandy tried to get up, but she was tangled in something. She could see her brothers and sister struggling too.
Were stuck in a cheetah trap! Mady thought in horror.
