Spyro is such a fad! [CLOSED]

Why has Spyro become such a fad? It's crazy. The Simpsons is an even BIGGER fad. However, Spyro is a good video game series and all, but I don't think it should get this much attention!

What on earth are you talking about? Hey, "this much" attention is a very good thing for the Spyro franchise. It means we get more games (hopefully better, too), merchandise, and meet more people who also like the series.

And, for the record, Spyro is considered one of the mascots of the PSOne. This is no where near as popular as he used to be.

Spyro is definitely not a fad! In fact Spyro was one of the best platformer games of it's time when it was in the PS1. And also GTG and YotD both got a score of 10/10 in the Official PlayStation Magazine! I know coz I've still got that magazine at home!

Do you have a scanner? If so, can you please scan the pages showing the 10/10 scores for both games?

I haven't seen these mags at all.

Well the best out the platformer games anyway. I just cut it down to that corner so you could see the scores better.

There was also Quake II from shooters, Driver 2 from arcade racing, Final Fantasy VII from RPG and Tekken 2 from fighting, all with 10/10 as well as GtG and Yotd from Platformer games.

Totally. Spyro's been around for yeaaaaaaaars and still has us major fans. I prefer the first three games, but still.
