With the height of internet connected gameboxes (PS3, Wii, XB360) and online games, how about an online game?

You will make your own character and it will have everything in Spyro's Lair (haven't got into it) but will add specific zones where you can battle it out with other players. Voice or text chat will be nice, too.

The only problem is that three different consoles will not connect together. :/

Well, they should fix it and make it to where the 3 will connect.
At least the Ps3 with the 360 and Halo 3 coming out on it.

And are you talking of like an MMO of similar?

(But I think I know what your talking of...I hade similar idea that could relate to Halo 3 because of the customizable looks.)

That actually sounds decent, but not for a game like Spyro with such a young fanbase.

i like the idea. spyro's lair is in 2-d and not much work in it. i like 3-d mmog

Dosn't have the base for a online game. Needs to be a shooter or something... I dunno. Probably end up like RUNESCAPE.

I like the idea. I've thought about it before, but even if it did happen, I'd have to save up for one of those consoles (Wii probably.) unless a ps2 can do that.

Thats a great Idea! Imagine a huge world like warcraft where you can fly around meet frieds and fight against all sorts of enemies to increase your level^^ that would be awesome!

Eh... the idea has sort of lost its charm. Too many big name industries (like Cartoon Network) trying to cash in on the whole internet fad. <.<;

Runescape is awsome.

If it was made to run good on most older computers, but still have the potential on a high end PC, with a good MMO server base, long quest lines, plenty of NPC's to kill and loot items off of, it would be a great game. It wouldn't sell good with a Spyro name on it, but if the characters in the series were in the game as NPC's to talk to and get help on quests, it would be a great game. Too many MMOs with just humans in medeval times, an MMO with the races of Dragons, Cheetahs, Dragonflies, and Wolves as the good/light side of the world. Whereas the evil/dark side would have say, Shadow Apes, Werewolves, Ghouls, Zombies, and maybe something else.

but It really annoys me-.-! there are thousands of free MMORPG's with humans like Metin2 or 4Story and thousands more bou no one where you can play as a dragon that's free just one that costs 19$ every month and looks weird DX
I could really imagine, that the company that makes such a free MMORPG would earn a lot of money with that ^^

A Dragon MMORPG would be nice, but I don't think it's ever gonna happen.

I'm optimistic^^ I''ll write a E-mail to the makers of Metin2 they're earning a lot of money with their free MMORPG and maybe they're thinking about starting a second project. there's nothing i can loose so why shouldn't I ask?

Yeah man why don't they make Spyro a online game that we can make our own dragons and fight along side Spyro!
