i'm just wondering if spyro will still be one of the top games in ten years to come? i mean i'll be 22 then. i hope it'll still be around.

Well he's been around for 9 years now, and comparing to other icons of his day that's a pretty damn good feat. But weirdly enough, very few gaming icons have lived to their 20s so far, with the only notable few at the top of my head being Mario, Zelda, Pacman and Donkey Kong.

Though, it's still early doors yet so we'll see what happens.

I reckon it will last if they go past the trilogy in the LOS series. if they don't then it's kaput.

Hopefully. As long it's a proffitable series. If everyone stays interested, and they don't screw up the gameplay, he'll continue on. I think that once a series keeps going 10 years, it'll be kinda hard to retire it.

No one will beat Mario... who's up to like... 27 years now.

I'm thinking Spyro's got another 2-5 years if they make it through The Legend of Spyro. Either that... or Spyro is DONE after this series. >.>
