I know this is really weird but if you go to the character guide and click on Spyro's profile the picture of him from STD looks like this picture of the worlds uglyest dog. Check it out im to scared to give you the link to the picture of the dog because I can't bare to look at it, its so scary but go to www.google.com and type in "The World's Uglyest Dog" and click on images. I think they alike.

While I don't agree that Spyro looks like the world's ugliest dog (that little fellow was so ugly he was cute), I do think he is a bit dog-like, specifically, he's puppy-like in the way he moves (at least in ANsmilie. He has a bouncing, rolling sort of walk that is much like a puppy or kitten who's still getting the hang of using his feet. He's starting to grow out of it in TEN (his gait is smoother and more feline).

and it is not the new Spyro its the picture in the character guide of Spyro the Dragon 1st game
