Was DotD worth playing? [CLOSED]

Do you guys think DotD was worth playing? Despite the many plotholes and sudden changes Sierra made in order to make it epic for Spyro's 10th anniversary?

It was worth playing, but NOT worth the $50 I had to fork over in order to.

Not for fifty bucks. I got rid of the PS3 version, bought a PS2 version and copied then, then got rid of the PS2 version and burned the data to a blank DVD. I play DotD for free.

I played DotD a lot after I bought it. But then I wondered why would Sierra want to change the characters' designs and the art style, just to make it epic for Spyro's 10th anniversary. I haven't played it much since.

I haven't played it yet. If I do I better have it for XB360, I ain't playing things on crappy PS2.

(I play Guitar Hero 3 and USED to play NFS Carbon/Most Wanted on PS2 and it SUCKS.)

Like I said before, it was worth playing.
But I only played through it once. It's too short and easy, and that makes me bored >.< I like my games to be at LEAST 15 hours. DotD was about...6.

Yeah, DotD would've been better and longer, if Sierra hadn't interrupted Krome and change game developers to make the final chapter of the LoS trilogy epic. And it was all for Spyro's 10th anniversary.

I was mehish for one playthrough (the plus side was listening to my iPod instead of the mehish music/voice acting). Was it worth the cash I forked over? Definitely not. I still think a large chunk of the game ripped off God of War. <.< >.>

I loved it. Worth playing.

Went the whole hog and blew up my year's savings for a PS3 and DotD. It's THAT worth it. smilie

I loved it! But, I think most of the levels are too dark and scary. Plus there isn't much things to do if you just like messing around and such.

It seemed worth playing at the time. In hindsight, it wasn't. Couldn't even get through the second level on a replay, even. Definitely not worth the $50 I paid for it.

The changes in combat, art style, and gameplay doesn't cover up the plotholes of DotD.
