Did u know that Shadow Legacy was supposed to be on PS2, Xbox and Gamecube as well? The reason why Vivendi cancelled the other versions is because the storyline was too different compared to the DS version. I still wished that Shadow Legacy was on the other consoles!!

Oh, I got onto it now. Frankly, the forum post is simple nonsense and fan-fiction to the point where the most obsessive fan gets to decide the continuity of the series. The old games are now non-canon thanks to the rebooting of the franchise, and the differences between the worlds of the original games and the Legend games are too big to merge the two conflicting continuities.

i think it would has just worked well on DS... PS2 would have loads of different things to do... like you said... i can figure out why

well i heard somewhere that like red joins the good guys or something, and that Ember chooses an armadillo over spyro, so i don't think i would enjoy it much. also to the fact that i don't even have a DS

Red is supposed to be the main villain until it is discovered he is being controlled by the sorceror. You fight him at Moleville and then he becomes your pal. Its also true about Ember and the armadillo, even though they never even see each other I dont think.

I enjoyed it very much, in fact it is my favourite Spyro game and DS game.
