Have you ever noticed that in the originals, the adult dragons stand on two legs while the young ones like Spyro stand on four? When I was little I accepted it and figured they become bipedial when they reach a certain age, but now it seems odd.

And not to say that LoS is better, it's equally as good as the originals in my opinion, but it makes more sense for the adults to be standing on four legs.

It doesn't truly matter to me. Even though it would make sense for weight reason.
But the adult dragons in Spyro 1 were almost ants compared to Ignitus and the others...

It actually all depends on the body structure.
