Yes, I made this topic A LONG TIME AGO, but...
What if they never made a single Spyro game?

If they never made a single Spyro game...?
Well, this site would've never been here, and if this site hadn't been here, there's a good chance I'd be playing games like Horse Riding Adventures for Nintendo DS still, instead of GOOD games for PS3 and such. So, really, I have Spyro to thank for getting me into Platforming games.

I probably wouldn't be suffering as much because I play so many different kinds of games; of course, would certain other games exist too? Or would have somebody else made a dragon game of some kind sooner or later?

Uh... nothing really. The only thing I can truly attribute to Spyro is the fact that it got me to recognize Insomniac Games enough so I got hooked on Ratchet & Clank once they left Spyro. *shrugs* <.>

Same. It would be a nightmare if Spyro didn't exist. But then, if he didn't, then I could make him a game and I'd get the credit.

I was kinda already inta dragons but I got to play PS1 Spyro 1 2, 3 which pushed me further. Then a friend told me about TLoS. (At first I only knew that ANB and TEN existed, I knew nothing about it. [I first heard of Cynder through the McDonalds mini-games]) On a YouTube walkthrough, I followed from beginning to end, in order, in the TLoS set and I was amazed by it all. Story, characters, and "YES! It's not up to Sparx whether I die or not!" |

Dragons have been a fasination my whole life. Actually started by my interest in my Moms past.
Her schools mascot was a dragon. As for Spyro not existing. I didn't know all that much about him before I got a Wii. So it wasn't like I could miss him. But I'd still be a DOS Game addict.

Basically, most of my PlayStation games are Spyro. . .
So, I don't know where I would be without that little purple dragon. And yeah, they might make a different dragon PlayStation game if Spyro didn't exsit, and this site wouldn't exsit either. . . I'm thankful that Spyro does exsit. |
