Comments on Polls [CLOSED]

I don't know if this has been asked for or not, but is there any reason commenting is not allowed on polls? Every time I see the polls I wonder why so many people pick the answers they do. It might be neat to see what conversations get sparked that way. Of course, it could lead to fighting, too, but what forum post doesn't? smilie

I'd like to be able to comment on the polls, too.

I remember when dark asked what our favorite LoS game was, it BOTHERED me horribly when I couldn't ask "WHY!?"

Monthly polls are good enough. Polls allowing comments makes them unanonymous.

Monthly polls are plenty, agreed. But I don't agree that being able to comment takes away from a person's anonymity. The people who don't want to be known don't comment and those who want to talk about why they like what they do can.

There haven't been much polls in the world that allow you to comment. Don't go against the flow.

If no one goes against the flow, change doesn't happen and creation stagnates, withers, and dies. If dark52 doesn't want to go through the trouble, I understand, but just because no one else ever thought to do it doesn't mean it's not worth doing.

Also, all the polls created on deviantART allow comments and it leads to fascinating discussion.
