Is this the guy that played Sparx in A New Beginning, or the Eternal Night? I love Sparx in ANB, the actor really done a good job.

Bear in mind there were few spoken lines from Sparx that were transferred to the DS. For the full experience, the console version is required to hear what he did, and to be honest, I think the DS version picked up some of his better lines.

He sounds DA BOMB in TEN, but ANB, David Spade sounds like he is being forced to do the lines, like with a javelin or something

Well I have the DS version and I think he's good. I thought Sparx was supposed to sound quite bored anyway.

David Spade voiced Sparx in the GameCube and PS2 versions of ANB. Believe me, you were spared much torment by having the DS version.

Billy West is Sparx's new voice for TEN and he's done great so far.

I love Billy West as Sparx. He really does a great job and brings a personality to the character that just wasn't there in the David Spade performance. ANB Sparx was bored and whiney; TEN Sparx is a total jerk, but he's honest about it and it's great.

billy in my opinion is doing a much better job. I mean, just listen to the scream david does at the ice king in ANB, then listen to his scream at the pirates in TEN...

In ANB when Spyro asked Sparx that is he said (when Spyro got is Earth Breath) and Sparx said "Oh you must be hearing this" (or atleast like that), if you listen closely, you can hear David almost yawing when the cutscene ended.

In the movie, he's Kuzco. In the series, he's voiced by someone else who, surprisingly, is unfunnier than Spade. The only good thing Spade HAS done was actually tENG, but then again it was Patrick Warburton's character (Kronk) that was funny.

Spade had a serious line flub at the end of ANB when Sparx says he's got something in his throat. Also, I'm pretty sure Dave was drunk that day. He sure sound like it.
