Has anyone noticed that over the course of the games leading up to LoS, spyro has really shown signs of maturity? Before, spyro was the silly one. but then in LoS, sparx became the silly one.

No... You just generaly were stating the obvious... Everyone knew this! And everyone knew why it happened because, unless your a Hermit and have been hiding away all this time, TLOS is different than the original games... TLOS is a different universe, a re-boot series so they decided to change the characters personalitys... So... They decided to make Spyro more mature than in the originals...

I like the mature Spyro. The old one is cool and funny too, but the mature version is cooler somehow.

Japanese Role Play Games; stuff like Final Fantasy is this.

Most of those (except for the Mother series), are pretty dang serious. Just one Final Fantasy game alone makes the entire LOS trilogy look like a Looney Toons act. O.o

O.o I never played Final Fantasy. And if it is alot more serious then TLOS, then I deffently wouldn't want to play it....

TLOS is the equivalent of the Mother/Earthbound Series, in which it does have humor, but even that kid hero series is rather serious in some aspects, especially with the nightmare fuel Giygas.
