in DOTD it wasa pritty p[ointless just there to look at TBH in TEN he was cool but got boring when you overused him

He is underused in DOTD but TEN used him well.

There was a reason for him in DOTD... It was Spyro being angry because he had lost Ignitus and thought that he could save him by turning into Dark Spyro and go through the belt of fire... Im guessing thats what Malefor wanted him to think as a trick to kill him...

Dark Spyro should've been a button-combination thingy when that purple bar got full....choose between that purple blast or dark Spyro/Cynder

(Much like the special abilities in Shadow The Hedgehog.)
