They can posses the dark-power but not feel any different as to what they would feel normally. But still, Slyro is free. The trio will not rest until they have defeated Slyro-The Dark Master.

PROLOGUE----
Malefor charged up his energy and let out a surge of Dark Energy. Slyro fell to the ground. Malefor walked up to him.
"Malefor." A voice said behind him.
Malefor looked...Spyro.
"Spyro, let me do this." Malefor said looking at an injured Slyro.
"Let him go." Spyro said.
"What!? After all he did!? He nearly killed Cynder...and Scarlett!" Malefor yelled.
"Slyro wasn't always like that." Spyro said walking up to Malefor.
"He was once a kind dragon, how I know this? My foster dad, Flash, remember, Slyro?" Spyro asked.
Slyro got up.
"He's dead!" Slyro yelled.
"And so is Scarlett! I killed them." Slyro yelled.
"No, you put them through time, my name Spyro, came from Flash, and that name originated from your's Slyro. My dad and Scarlett went years through time and ended up here" Spyro said.
"What?" Malefor whispered.
"Thats the truth" Slyro said.
"See?" Spyro said.
"Your not all evil." Spyro looked at him.
"I AM" Slyro boomed. He flapped his wings and took to the skies.

"We just lost our chance to end this war." Malefor said.
"Malefor? You OK? You look tired..." Spyro said.
"Nope, dont touch me!" Malefor said. He felt dizzy.
"No, Malefor seriously..."
Malefor collapsed.
