THE LEGEND OF SPYRO: SHADOW OF A DRAGON

PLOT:
Igntus and the 4 Guardians Terrdaor, Cyril and Volteer repels the attacks of the Dark Master. In the Year of the Dragon they must face many chices, that could lead to the extinction of Dragon-Kind.....
And at the Mountain Fortress, a powerful dragon is born, and under the influence of Malefor, could destroy the 4 Guardains, and bring back the Dark Master...

Meanwhile deep within the Swamp, a very special purple dragon is born, and could change the tides of war...


CHARCTERS:
Ignitus: Guardian of Fire, he is the leader of the 4 Guardians. Ignitus has been in many difficlut tasks, but not as difficult as the upcoming war...

Terrador: Gaurdain of Earth, Ignitus relies on him to form defesnsive and offensive strategys against the Dark Master's forces.

Cyri: Gaurdain of Ice, Cyril knows very little about the excistence of Malefor-the Dark Master. Cyril likes to brag about his ancestors of Ice and how proud they are.

Volteer: Gaurdain of Electricity....and he would be crowned Chat-King. He never stops talking...if he does, theres no stopping him and he tends to use wrds that rymhes with each other. Despite that, Volteer is powerful on the battlefield.

The Dark Master: No one really knows of the Dark-Master, Malefor. All the Gaurdians know is that he intends on destroying all the eggs...but now, no-one knows where he is.

Cynder: A powerful black-dragon, who later in the story intends to defeat the Gaurdians and bring back the Dark Master. Her egg wa stolen by Gaul's froces and got corrupted by Malefor's Dark Magic.

Gaul and the Apes: Malefor's army. Gaul is the leader of the army, the Ape-King. But overall Malefor is the leader, but after Malefor's fall...Gaul was thrown back in charge and id using Cynder to bring back his master...

Spyro: A young dragon born on the same day as Sparx a young dragonfly.

Well, it's looking good, so far...

PROLOGUE

"They've come again!" Cyril shouted over to Terrador.
"Good, Cyril" Terrador said.
Terrador was a large powerful dragon. He had green scales, and holes in his wings, a sign of which he has been in many battles. Cyril was a bright blue color, with purple on his underbelly. From the color of their scales, a dragon could tell that Terrador was an Earth dragon and Cyril was an Ice dragon.
"Ignitus, they're here." Terrador said.
"Then, execute the plane" Ignitus said.
Ignitus is the leader of the 4 dragons, he had red scales, a Fire dragon.
The Apes charged forward, toward the dragons.
"Now!" Terrador said.
At that instant dragons came from the doors of the Temple, the front row shoting out Ice Shards.
"Oh, yes Ice will forver conquer" Cyril said. Terrador and Ignitus ignored him.

Overwhelmed, the Apes wanted to turn around, some of the Apes froze in a silent scream. Some were already splintered into pieces. But from above they heard screeching. Dreadwings.
"Dreadwings" Terrador said.
"I know, remember, he'll be ready." Ignitus said, looking at the top of the Temple.
"5, 4, 3, 2, 1.." Ignitus whipsered
then a yellow dragon shooting out Electricity came. Behind him other different colored dragons. Dreadwings pummeled towards the ground.
The yellow dragon came down.
"They've attacked from behind also, Gaul is with them." Volteer said.
The Gaudrians looked at echother, all with the same though.
"Hurry, Ignitus" Cyril said.
Ignitus ran in the Temple. He kept on running. He was close to the Grotto. He fired at the magic torches to open the door. He walked in, only imagining what horrible things would happen. He past all the drgaon eggs, and came up to a purple egg, lying by itself in it's own little place. He looked at it. Many thoughts flooded his mind. He remembered another purple dragon, one that turned evil. But he had hope.
A shudder shook the Temple.
"Save him, the Dark Armies have come" Volteer said.

Ignitus looked around, wondering what to do with the egg, take it, or leave it. He looked at it. He took it. He went to the exit, flamed the torches and flew out, away from the noise. He headed towards the Silver River. Ignitus landed soflty, and put the egg in a shell and slid it in the river.
"May the Ancestors look after you, may they look after us all" Ignitus said and with that he flew straight back to the Temple.

He looked, he saw the othr Guardians overrun by Apes running around the Grotto, smashing eggs. He watched. He saw a commander Ape, taking a black egg. He knew what was happening. He charged to attack it, but he got shot down. After all danger seemed to be gone for the Apes, they stood still as a big armoured creature entered the room. The Ape commander gave Gaul the black egg. He examined it. The Apes looked at him curioulsy seeing if they had the right egg.
"Soon, our Master shall return" Gaul declared.
All the Apes laughed in an evil manner. They all knew what it meant. They will have their revenge on the dragons....

CHAPTER 1: ALL HOPE LOST?

Ignitus woke up.
What happened? He asked himself in his mind. After he saw the smashed eggs, he had remembered. he heard whispering. He got up and aproached the door leading to the giant dragon statue. "Aaaa, Ignitus, we were just talking about you" Cyri, said.
"Oh, yes, we, were, you couldn't doubt it..." Volteer got cut off by Terrador.
"Volteer! Silence, let Ignitus speak."
"Oh, yes, of course, of course, um go ahead Ignitus" Volteer said.
"Um, well, all hope seems lost now, there's nothing we can do, but wait & avoid Cynder and her forces."
"Yes, but we cannot stay here, it is too dangerous" Terrador said.
"We will stay in the Ancient Grove?" Cyril suggested.
"Hmph, yes, that could work. But there are Pirates there. They search for monsters and creatures for entertainment." Ignitus said.
"Yes, but the Pirates and Apes don't like to interact, and we're not wanted by the Pirates. The Apes wouldn't come to the Ancient Grove, looks like thats the best place, as long as we avoid the Pirates." Terrador said.
"Yes, we'll leave right away." Cyril said...

The 4 dragons flew above the clouds, avoiding detection from any creature. They heared high-pitched screams behind them. Ignitus looked back. Dreadwings.
"Dreadwings are behind us, Terrador." Ignitus said.
"We'll split up" Terrador said.
The 4 dragons went seperate ways. The 4 Dreadwings followed Ignitus.
Ignitus flew in the clouds. He saw a shape coming closer, and getting bigger. It hit right in his face. Another Dreadwing. Ignitus from the imapct went backwards, smashing in the other Dreadwings. Ignitus flamed them from behind. No use. The Dark Master had powered them to be fire proof.

Volteer frantically looked around. Splitting up was a bad idea. Dreadwings attacked from above. This time Apes with Earth-Powered staffs approached. Volteer tried to doge the stabs and pokes but each time got hit. He started to feel dizzy...and then go to sleep.

Cyril kept flying. He knew that this was a bad idea, but there wasn't time to argue. Behind he could see the Dreadwings fading away. He was getting away! While looking back, the attack came from the front.

Terrador was a powerful well built dragon. He kept on falpping his powerful wings, always alert. He saw Ignitus below him, going into a canyon. Terrador followed.

The Dreadwings kept on screeching and howling behind Ignitus. Terrador flew in behind the Dreadwings and shot out Earth Bombs. THe Dreadwind pummeled to the gorund. "Where's Cyril and Volteer?" Terrador asked.
"I do not know" Ignitus replied.
They were'nt heading to the Ancient Grove anymore. They were ina canyon. They were actually lost.

CHAPTER 2: CYNDER
Night fell. Ignitus and Terrador talked about many things. That of the purple dragon, the Temple, Cyril & Volteer, the Apes, but one thing that was on their mind, but they never spoke of was the Dark Master....

Volteer slowly opened his eyes. He looked, he saw dirt. Limitless dirt. What to do? He got up. He didn't blink. Nothing. Just dirt. Not even a rock, or a single tree, or hill. He looked up, a red sky covered with red clouds. He walked forward. When he took his first step flashes of light surrounded him. He saw creatures, even dragons. He saw Cyril. He felt good indside, a warn feeling. He felt happy. There was no worries, he didn't even worry about Ignitus and Terrador, he was calm. Cyril came. They didn't talk. They couldn't talk. When Volteer looked, he then saw grass, and lakes, rolling hills. A blue sky, with only a few clouds. The sun shon. Was he in Rexle? Rexle was the place where the good-hearted lived, the deceased good-hearted, so like heaven. He was actually dead....

A mounatin sood tall in the fog. It had green liquid pouring down the side, like green lava. An evil place, of which evil will be born. Ape Commanders guarded a dark room. They were slouching, they just played around with their massive staffs out of boredom, breathing heavily. Then they heard footsteps. They looked and saw 3 shadows cast along the wall. They weren't slouching anymore, but standing straight their weapons standing tall beside them. A large Ape and 2 Ape Commanders appeared. It was Gaul in the middle. One of the Commander Apes spoke a foreign langauge (which will be translated in the story to english )
"It is time"
"Good" Gaul whispered.
He walked in the dark room alone. A small light lit on a black egg in an invisible cage, powered by the mountain itslef. He looked at the egg, shifting slightly. It begun to crack. He roared and an Ape enttered the room with a Dark Crystal. Gaul moved aside. 2 more Apes enetered the room. The egg hatched. "Cynder" Gaul said slowly in a raspy voice.
The Apes nodded. The 2 Apes that just entered the room, carefully lifted parts of what the small dragon inside had broken. Eventually Gaul came.
"Get the job done quickly!" He yelled. He grabbed the small baby dragon, still covered in slime and threw it in the cage. It squeeled loudly.
"Do it!" He boomed. The Ape with the Dark Crystal came.
"Malefor's power is stil in there" the Ape said.
"Good," Gaul said.
The Dark Crystal seemed to have activated it shot out purple lightning to the baby dragon. She cried in pain. But her shape seemed to change, into a young dragon ( about the same size as Spyro in ANB ).
Yet another Ape came into the room, with a golden chest. Gaul opened it, it contained pieces of sliver necklaces and bracelets.
A few minutes later thet had put them on her. Purple Lightning shot out again, this time it looked as if it did nothing, but the young dragon, was getting corrupted by the Dark Master's power. She was getting more powerful.
As it happened an Ape Commander leaned close to Gaul.
"Will she turn traitor?" He asked.
"Under our Master's control....no." Gaul replied.
The Lightning stopped. The dragon collapsed.
"Activate the cage!" Gaul yelled.
A green cage of lightning formed around Cynder.
"Hehehe!" Gaul laughed.

CHAPTER 3: SPYRO & SPARX
An egg in a shell floated in the river. It flowed deeper in the Swamp, until it came to a stop. 2 dragonflies named Flash & Nina found the egg, and cautioulsy approached it, wondering what could be inside. They looked back...their egg was hatching, at the same time, the large purple egg was hatching.Out of the large egg, a small, but larage purple head came out...bits of the egg on it's head. Nina found it amusing. She giggled and went back to their own egg. Flash flew around the purple creature. He had some memories. Then he flew over to Nina. A small yellow dragonfly head popped out. "Sparx." Nina said.
"We've been alernating with that and Spyro, and you chose Sparx." Flash said.
"How about that other creature?" Nina asked. The purple creature had already broke free from the shell and had come to the family. It was quite big for a dragonfly.
"It's seemed to think that we're his parents." Nina said.
"Ugh..." Flash looked at Nina,
Flash knew her, Nina would always adopt a baby creature they would find. Months ago, they actually found a lone baby Frogweed. They cared for it for a few weeks, until it was old enough to venture on it's own.
"Well then..." Nina started.
"Yes, fine, we can look after him" Flash said.
"Only until his old enough to..."
"Yes, of course," Nina said.
Nina looked at the purple thing.
"....Spyro" she said.

CHAPTER 4: GAUL & CYNDER
"The Dreadwings have returned" an Ape Pilot said.
"Good..." Gaul said.
The Dreadwings came, they were hauling a large wooden table dragging along the ground with two dead dragons on it. One yellow, one blue....Volteer and Cyril.
"I TOLD YOU TO FIND! NOT KILL THEM! WE NEED THEM TO POWER THE CRYSTALS! BRING THEM BACK AT ONCE!"Gaul yelled, it felt as if it was rocking the whole Mountain Fotress. "Yes" the Ape said, and signalled the Dreadwings to go back.The Dreadwings screeched and turned around.
Out of the door behind him, a lrge black dragon with massive wings came forward, it was bigger than Gaul himslef.
"Looks like we have to wait, Cynder, CHAIN HER!" Gaul yelled.
Cynder looked around. Ape Commanders came up to her and chined her necklace to Gaul's throne. Gaul sat in his throne. Cynder was next to him.

After all the Apes were gone to resume their search...
Gaul looked at Cynder. He put his hand to her head. When he touched her, Cynder roared getting up, the chain kept her down. The throne vibrated. Gaul closed both of his eyes.
"You'll learn that I am you master" Gaul said.
"I serve Malefor" Cynder hissed.

"Yes but he is not here" Gaul shot back.
"SO YOUR UNDER MY CONTROL!"
"Fine, then...when I bring back MY master, you and your pathetic Apes will meet a tragic end" Cynder said deeply.
"Pathetic? Commander! Show this dragon on how powerful we are!" Gaul yelled.
The commander that just walked in, just walked back out.
"If your so powerful, then why do you want Malefor back so badly?" Cynder challnged.
Gaul thought about a clever line to shoot back at Cynder.
"Why do you want him back...are you...to weak?" Gaul said.
"My powers are nothing like the Dark Master's" Cynder said easing back down.
Gaul was annoyed. The sooner he could get Malefor back, the better.
The Ape Commander came in with another 5 commanders.
"Good..." Gaul whispered. Cynder got up...prepared. Gaul cut the chain loose. In less than a second, Cynder had already slashed 2 commanders, theiy lost their grasp of their staffs, then Cynder swiped her long tail immobilising the other Apes. The battle was over in less than 5 seconds.

Gaul was shocked, all his best commanders had been defeated by Cynder. Well Gaul though At least I have someone powerful on my side. Gaul chained her up. Cynder had no prblem of it.
"You seem so calm, Cynder" Gaul said.
"Why?" He asked.
Cynder got up, and opened her mouth. Shadow Fire cmae out of her mouth, it melted the chains, and she was free.
"I'm sick of you filthy ape." Cynder said. She ran towards the door. Gaul jumped and landed in front of Cynder. He got his twin swords out. His 2 evil eyes glaring at Cynder. Cynder reared up and shot out fireballs at Gaul. Gaul rolled over dodging them, but then got tail-swiped, and he felt a searing pain in his face. He saw Cynder in front of him, smiling.
Gaul couldn't see well, he touched his face, he touched his right eye...it was painful, he looked at his hand, he saw blood. Then the real pain came. Blood poured out of his face. Cynder then burnt him. Gaul, unlike him screamed in pain.

Cynder kept on burning him. Ape Commenders came in the room, they shot out Earth Bombs from their staffs, trying to fend off the mighty dragon. "Now I set my master free!" She roared. She unfolded her large sleek wings, and took off. She flew straight out of the mountain looking at the 2 Celestial Moons, and flew forward, towards the dim sunlight.
The Ape Commanders looked at Gaul, now lying on the ground, blood splattered all over him. One of his eyes were gone, which would be replaced by a green crystal....

CHAPTER 5: SWAMP

Spyro jumped, hoping he would catch Sparx.
"Missed!" Sparx siad.
Sparx was so small. He was small enough for Spyro to swallow him whole, no chewing. Spyro splashed in the mud. It had recently rained. Nothing much happened in the Swamp. There was not that much Apes here, they don't really come near the Swamp, only near the Temple, and the other side of the Swamp. You see, after Flash & Nina found the egg, they thought that the purple creature was of great inmportance. They though about this for a long time....

The egg looks like it had come from the near by Temple, that had recently just been attacked. They though about what couldv'e happened, could someone have accidently dropped, no because it was in a shell. Could maybe a thief had got the egg, no, becuase he would've dropped it, but it was in a shell. Could someone have purposley have done it, for saftey, after all it was an egg, maybe. So they decided to move to the other side of Swamp, near the ocean, near the great cliff. That would be the best place for them to be safe.

Spyro ran towards to catch elusive Sparx. Sparx dodged him, he looked down,
"AAAA!" He screamed. There was no ground! He flew back to Spyro. They looked down the shear cliff. The ocean waters splashed on the rocks. "That was close" Spyro said.
"What are you doing here?" A voice said.
"Uh-oh" Sparx said.
Flash came from the foliage.
"Oh, h-hi dad." Spyro sqeaked.
Flash grinned at Spyro and Sparx.

This may sound like I'm a jerk but if no-one comments, I get the feeling that no-one's reading it, so until I get atleast 1 comment...I will not type anymore.

Gaul had his back turned while the Ape Commanders whispered things to eachother. Gaul turned, the Commanders immideietaly stood straight. Gaul looked at them, this time with a green crystal to replce one of his eyes.
"Are they gone?" Gaul asked.
"Yes lord...re revived the and they're free" one of the Commenders said.
"Good..."

Ignitus and Terrador flew. They felt in their blood they were going the right way. They heard a roar. They looked to see a dark shape moving closer, and faster.
"A Dreadwing?" Terrador asked.
Cynder came out of no-where smashing Ignitus with her sharp horns. She raised her claws and dug them into Terrador scales. Terrador tried to break free but when he struggled, Cynder's claws only went deeper. In time they all made it to ground level....where the Apes were fighting a small group of dragons in the Tall Plains.
The 3 dragons landeed; Terracdor broke free and tail-swiped a piller knocking over 3 Apes over. Cynded located Terrador, the Ignitus and saw 2 other dragons, Cyril & Volteer. She could capture all of them at once! She headed for Cyril. Cyril saw her and shot out streams of ice, trying to block her path. But Cynder melted it all with her Shadow Fire. Cyril had no chance...

CAPTER 6: FROGWEED
Spyro and Sparx played around closer to their home this time. Spyro still hadn't caught Sparx...then they were ambushed by Frogweeds that just popped out from the ground...Sparx screames and flew away...Spyro tried to go but the Frogweeds blocked his path, shooting out their tounge at him. Spyro's first real fight....

Sparx kept on flying back home....what has he done??
"I left my buddy" mhe said, he started to flew back.

The frogweeds moved in. Spyro ran up to one and scratched it using his claw. The Frogweed moaned, and went back underground. Spyro with a lot of confidence ran up to another frogweed and tail-swiped it. It also went back underground.

Sparx came back.
"Whazzup?" He said sarcasticaly.
"Just saving myself from frogweeds that want to eat me alive" Spyro said as he smacked the last frogweed.
"Cool." Sparx said.

Cynder had captured Cyril and had knocked out Terrador...
Ignitus and Volteer had fled.

Cynder flew in pursuit. Ignitus and Volteer decided not to split up...
Ignitus blew out fire infront of him, while Volteer shot out an electric orb at the fire, cretaing a fire/electrcicty orb. Cynder shot out a dark fire ball, that hit the fire/electricity orb, powering it up. Ignitus and Volteer flew down, leaving the orb behind, Cynder smashed right into it. It had worked, but Cynder wouldn't give up so easily. She flew down with them.
"Oh this catastrophic, terrifying, horrifying...." Ignitus cut him off
"Quiet, we need to stop and fight her." Ignitus said Volteer nodded.
They halted, Cynder flew right pat them, but then came to a halt. Ignitus charged to her, leaving Volteer behind. Cynder also flew to Ignitus. They were going to have a head on collision. Cynder powered up, and blew out Shadow fire, but Ignitus countered it with his Comet Dash, flying straight into Cynder. Cynder spirralled to the gorund.
"Volteer" Ignitus said.
Volteer nodded and flew down with Ignitus.
Cynder was waiting for them at the ground. Volteer and Igntus also landed.
"You'll never escape." Cynder said.
"Maybe not, but you'll never free Malefor, someone will stop you, someone WILL confront you and defeat you, bringing you back to your normal self." Ignitus said.
"Silence! I will bring by master!" Cynder shouted.

Cynder reared up and let out a defeaning roar. Ignitus charges, flames bursting from his mouth. Volteer rose up and flew toward Cynder. Cynder swumg around, knocking Ignitus with her tail, and Volteer with her horns.
Then, without warning...her silver necklace zapped. She actually was screaming in pain. But Ignitus and Volteer couldn't hear her, beacuse of how loud the zapping was.

Then , not far a black portal started to form, with screeching purple lightning. A hand reached out, and a dragon skeleton with black poison all around it appeared. It looked as if black slime streamed down it's dark bones. Ignitus and Volteer froze with fear. The skeleton hovered towards Cynder. The air was still filled with screeching. The skeleton went in Cynder
then all was silent.Cynder lay there motionless.

Ignitus and Volteer slowly went to Cynder. Then, she rose up, her scales turning into a darker, jet black color. Her underpbelly turned to blood red, her wings bigger, he horns larger. Her eyes gleaming red. Ignitus and Volteer stepped back. Cynder opened her mouth, and lightning filled the dark sky. Lava burst from the ground. Cynder flew up in the air. Ignitus followed, leaving Volteer behind to deal with the cretures that came from the ground. Cynder kept on flying. She rarley flapped her wings. Ignitus couldn't see that well, dark fog came from Cynder, making her look like a dark could. She flew up, until it was as dark as night, Ignitus looked behind, to see a sphere shape, with orange lava creeping from the middle poisoning the world. The once blue rivers, now streams of lava, the once green hills, were now nothing but ashes. He looked at the sphere puzzled, it looked as if....he was in space....he WAS in space. He tunred to see Cynder, behind her was something catastrophic... meteors...hurtling towards the world. Ignitus had trouble breathing, and felt cold.. Cynder came to him, and scratched him acrross the face. He tried to breath out his fire, but he couldn't. Cynder approached again, grapping his hrons, then threw him back to the world. The meteors following him. Cynder smiled, and flew deeper into space, eventually looking like she was coming into a different galaxy alltogether, rocks, floating everywhere. In the middle was a big archway, with a purple beam. She was in Convexity.

Ignitus hurtled down to the earth, The closer he came, the more destruction he could see.

CHPATER 7: ULTIMATE MALICE coming soon...

CHAPTER 7: UTIMATE MALICE

Ignitus landed on the ground with a big thump. The meteors followed, smashing into the ground. Ignitus couldn't get up, he sustained major injuries. He couldn't move. He just styed there.

Volteer had been hit by a meteor, and was being eaten by the creatures he was trying to defeat. He was being eatgen alive. The creatures, known as Rexilians looked cute, they were small they had fur along there biack, and big cute eyes. It also had a nice smile. But in their jaws, lied razor-sharp teeth, with venom. And claws sharper than sharp can ever be sharp. They chirped and pecked at Volteer, blood ran from Volteers deep cuts. The Rexilians continued on feeding on Volteer, despite the havok around them.

Cynder had approached the archway, and the dark skeletal shape was coming out of Cynder. It went into the purple beam.
"Get Volteer" it hissed.
"Yes, master" Cynder replied, and flew through a portal Malefor had created.

The Rexilians were still eating Volteer, alive. Then a portal formed and Cynder flew out. Cynder clawed the Rexilians as they scurried off in a fright.

Hours past, and the havok had stopped. No more meteors, no more noise. It was a kind of peacful feeling. Ignitus footprints scattered along the dirt. And in the distance a red dragon limped off in the sun rise. Ignitus glanced at the sky. The dark night was slowly becoming a more purple color. He wondered if that purple draggon survived. What it would be doing now. He wondered. If it were dead, what chances of defeating Cynder and Malefor were there then? Cynder, alone had nearly destroyed the world, imagine what Malefor was capable of. She had captured all the Guardains, only Ignitus was left. The sun was nowbecoming a more aqua color. Ignitus looked at the ground. It was starting to turn into the green that it was before. Ignitus was wondering of lots of things. Years ago, when he was talking to the Guardains, when peace was there, he would never have imagined he would lived to see this. He thought his job was simple.

Be the leader of the 4 Guardains, protect the Temple and the eggs. Then after the Year of the Dragon, train the purple dragon and the in time bring peace back to the realms by defeating Malefor. Even though Malefor wasn't here, he was winning in this war.

Ignitus stood upright. He looked in the sun rise. He thought--
I couldn't let Malefor win. I must look for the purple dragon. I must win this war. I MUST.

And so the story will continue, CHAPTER 8: RETURN TO THE TEMPLE

Swamp, was not as it used to be eversince Cynder nearly destroyed the world. Spyro and his family were safe though. But Flash decided they should leave Swamp, as it is far too dangerous. So they traveled.

Spyro and his family walked through the grass, grass with dirt all around. It was sure not a nice site, but anyway. They were travelling to Tall Planes. Flash had been there a few times, and had good relations with them. It was a long travel. Then, without warning, Apes popped out of the ground, souting out things to eachother.
Spyro, Sparx, Flash & Nina huddled together frozen in fear. The Apes trapped the dragonflies in cages and Spyro tied up with rope.

They carried them with dreadwings, to a suspicious looking mountain. Spyro was brought forward, to a rather ugly Ape, he had one eye, with a green crystal to replace the other eye...

CHAPTER 8: RETURN TO THE TEMPLE

Ignitus flew. He's been flying alot lately, which was exhuasting for him. He was in the Ancient Grove, and decided to follow the river leading up to Swamp. When he did, he bearly noticed the Temple. It looked like ruins, but was still intact. He flew down. He spied Ape Commanders gaurdian the area. He didn't want to give away his position. He walked across, and flew on the roof of the Dojo. He burnt it and smashed through, landing next to the ginat dragon statue. He looked around. No Apes here. He walked over to the door leading to the Grotto. He took one deep breath and walked in. Still no Apes...maybe a trap? He walked over to the Pool of Visions. He focused his eyes on it. He saw....he saw a city. A dragon city. A massive golem of some sort, a massive war. He got disturbed by an Ape Commander snorting on the other side of the door. Time for him to go. He took one last look around the Temple, and flew back out from where he had came from.

CHAPTER 9: REBUILDING THE TEMPLE coming soon...

I was bored so I decided to do more of the story

Actually on 2nd thought, Im kinda tired, its almost 1 in the morning, but I'll just do a little bit *yawns*

Gaul walked around Spyro. Spyro was scared. He looked at Gaul with fear.
"The purple dragon, I could finish you off right now" Gaul said.
"Yes, yes, Malefor will be glad" He said.
Spyro had no idea what he was saying, but saw the gate exit. He kept on glancing at the gate, then Gaul, gate, Gaul, gate, Gaul, GATE! While Gaul was facing the oppisite dircetion, SPyro ran for the exit. "fool" Gaul whipsered.

Spyro made it out from the gate, but then an Ape Commmnader picked him up from the tail.
"Hahah! There is no escape small one" Gaul said.

CHAPTER 9: REBUILDING THE TEMPLE

The Apes thought of setting up a fort at the Temple. And so, with Gaul's permission, got more reinforcments, and started to rebuild the Temple. Ignitus watched. He had underestimated them. They were very smart but, only the new ones that had arrived. Thet were big, with duel swords. They had to green glowing crystal eyes, and claws. They were the smart ones. Ape Masters. Ignitus recognized them. They were in the wars when Ignitus was just a child.

u have a reason. but still....MORE!!! as soon as u can.

Well, its in the morning, now I write more...


Ignitus watched as the passed on pieces of rock to each other. Did they even know how to build the Temple?? Ignitus saw the an Ape Master had taken a rock, and threw it on the top, where Ignitus had created a hole, it fir perfectly and it looked as good as new! But Ignitus knew that rebuilding the Dragon Temple, into an Enemy Fotress was a bad idea. He had to stop them...but there was too many. If he did manage to defeat them all, it would take a long time for him to recover, leaving him vulnerable. But what else was he meant to do???

Spyro was in what looked like a prison with ihs family. It looked as if the dragonflies could escape, but there's a fear in this place, that didn't want them to move. (The Ape Commanders that were guarding them, were masters of the Element Fear.) Spyro looked around. He saw a lever in the prison. He walked to it, and starting examining it. One of the Ape Commanders snorted and signalled him to go back. Purposely, Spyro turned and push down the lever with his tail, making it look like an accident. As the lever got push dwon, a loud screeching sound filled the air. The roof in the prison started to open, with metal and wooden spikes extending out, it was going to crush them. The Apes had fled to tell their King, so the family sneaked out of the priosn. They looked around, and saw a window.

The dragonflies flew out. Spyro looked around and saw the the ground level wasn't far, he could make it. He jumped on tthe ground-no harm done.

Cynder flew over to Munitions Forge, a place the was dominated by a huge volcano called Boyzitzbig. Cynder landed.
A train came and stopped next to her. A rather small ape with a cruel voice came forward. "Everythings under control here..I recieved word that up in the Tall Planes theres trouble brewing with the locals, Atlawas." The Conductor said.
"The Manweersmalls ARE mining for the metal for your troops?" Cynder asked.
"Yes, as I said everythings fine here."
Cynder flapped her wings and took off.

CHAPTER 10: GOING BACK TO SWAMP
Spyro, Sparx, Flash & Nina were in the Ancient Grove. They decided to go back to Swamp. They knew they had to follow the Silver River...and so they did.
"Spyro, and Sparx..." Nina began.
"yeah?" Sparx asked.
"We're sorry about all that." Flash said.
"Eh, its allright, hey! We escaped!" Spyro said.
Flash and Nina looked at eachother.
"Yes, Spyro we did escape, and we're together." Flash said.

Ignitus studied on the Apes. Seeing what weapons they had, and their stregth. He should be able to defeat them easily. He crawled closer, and charged.The Apes looked in confusion and 3 Apes were already lying lifelesssly on the ground. Ignitus roared as flames burst from his mouth. The Ape Commanders fled. Ignitus stopped and looked around. The battle was easier than he had thought.

Spyro and his family arrived in the outskirts of Swamp.
"Do you think this is a good idea?" Nina asked Flash.
"Dont worry...it'll be safe." Flash said. He flew forward.
"C'mon kids!" He said.
Spyro and Sparx came forward. They went ahead Flash and Nina into the swamp.
"It feels good to be back!" Spyro said exidetly.
"Yeah, its sooo much better here!" Sparx said.

Ignitus went around to the entrance, when the door opened, he saw 5 Ape Masters and several Ape Commanders in the grotto. Behind him 2 more Ape Masters came. It was a trap!!!

Spyro and Sparx played with each other happy to be home.
Flash & Nina soon came into the swamp with Spyro, and Sparx.
They heard noises coming from their right. They heard fire and things stompiing on the ground. They were battle noises. Spyro decided to go investigate, along with Sparx. This was his first mission.

An Ape Master swung his staff around and smashed it in Ignitus' face. Two more Ape Masters blasted electricity at him. On eApe Commander got a suspicious looking crystal. The crystal started to power up, zapping Ignitus. His power was draining....it was a crystal to release the Dark Master....

Spyro and Sparx went through the Swamp. Spyro saw an Ape Master with 2 Ape Commanders guarding the entrance. Spyro walked up to them.
"Hehehe, small little dragon..." The Ape Master said. He picked up Spyro with one hand very gently. Spyro looked at him in a confused way.
"Hey!" Sparx yelled. The Ape Commanders looked at him. "This thing isn't even bigger than a frogweed!" One of the Ape Commanders said.
"Hey, neither is the purple dude!" Sparx said.
"Hehehe! 'Purple Dude' is very special" The Ape Master said.
"Thankyou" Spyro said.
Sparx screamed and the Apes looked at him. Then out of the corner a rather large Ape came, Gaul. "What is this?" Gaul screamed.
"Nothing, sir" One of the Ape Commanders said.
Gaul walked over to the Ape Master.
"I've found the run-away." He said handing Spyro over to him.
Gaul laughed, saliva dropping on Spyro.
Spyro felt like throwing up.

"What do you mean...runaway?" Sparx asked.
Spyro suddently realised and tried to break free of Gaul's grasp. Gaul threw Spyro on the Temple wall, knocking him out. Sparx yelled something that no one didn't understand. Gaul shot a beam from his crystal eye, and hit Sparx across his left wings. Sparx dropped to the ground...silently, and motionlessly.
"Throw the dragon in the Dojo!" Gaul yelled. An Ape Master picked Spyro with one hand, taking him in the Grotto and throwing him in the Dojo room. The door closed with a loud bang.

The giant dragon statue in the room, was gone, and only the sound of Ignitus practicing his attacks was the only noise in the room. Ignitus walked over to the small purple dragon, who was still unconciounsous.
Ignitus couldn't talk, he was relieved that the dragon was still alive..and shocked on why it came back. Ignitus examined the small dragon.

The dragon wasn't moving...but he wasn't dead...it's like some sort of pariliser that came over him. Samething with Sparxx...that wasn't good. They can defeat every dragon if they wanted to. Ignitus had to return the dragon back to it's home in the Swamp. At night...the door creaked open. Ignitus appeared dark blue now, a more navy color, it was perfect..the Apes won't even recognise them. He moved silently. The Apes were half asleep guarding the exit. Then he saw something glowing on the far side of the room. He walked over to it...it was a dragonfly. He looked back the purple dragon, and the dragonfly...he saw some kind of resemblence, a similarity. Pehaps the dragonfly was the purple dragon's companion. He slowly picked the dragonfly up with one hand....

"Hey what the he...." Sparx yelled
"Shhhhhh" Ignitus said covering the small dragonflie's mouth.
The Apes stood up alert, and spied a dragonfly hovering in the air, not aware that Ignitus was there, Ignitus slowly out Sparx on the ground, Sparx couldn't even see Ignitus. Ignitus ran back into the Dojo, his tail smashing the door. The Apes glanced over at the door, and saw nothing.

Ignitus put Spyro on his back, and ran out, going through the Apes. The door opened and he flew out. He put the young dragon on the ground. He saw his eyes were half opened. He moaned and went back to sleep. Ignitus was actually going to laugh...he forgot how childish dragons that age were. He always was around old dragons, and adults. He had never been near a dragon of this age for years. At the sight, he remembered his childhood. His parents, and some awful things he had faced and lots of decisions he had made. He'd never thought of those memories for a long time. Suddenly, he remembered about the dragonfly. He flew back in the Temple, and located the sparkling yellow dragonfly, that had been parilised again. He picked him up, and flew down to Spyro. He dropped Sparx down next to Spyro. He looked at the two. He flew away.

The world had almost fully recovered from Cynder's attack. Cynder was in Dante's Freezer. After talking to the Ape Commanders, she flew to the the chamber in which, Volteer was in. His power was slowly being drained in a small yellow orb. She igmored him, she walked straight past him. She walked over to a frozen warrior. It was huge. Her necklace and the Ice-King's mask started to interact. Purple Lightning burst out from her necklace beaming into the Ice-King's mask. It seemed as if Cynder was activating it. The King roared.
"You know your instructions" Cynder said.
The King breathed out ice cold breath to create an ice sword that he grasped with his metal hands. Cynder smiled and flew out.

CHAPTER 11: CYNDER & IGNITUS

After she had visited Dante's Freezer, Tall Plains and Munitions Forge, she went to the Swamp, approaching the Temple. The Ape Commanders saw the massive beast and straight away stood upright, more better than Gaul. Cynder came to them. The door creaked open and she went inside.

She didn't see any dragon. She turned back at the Commanders and silently with one swift move slashing the Commanders along the face, as how she had done to Gaul. The Commanders shrieked in pain and fell to to the ground. She walked over to her left a bit more, and just stood there silently with her eyes closed. Ignitus watched from a distance. Ignitus didn't want to fight. He walked up behind her. Cynder opened her eyes and turned around. "No fighting this time?" Cynder asked.
"I know you would defeat me" Ignitus said.
"It's not me, it him" Cynder replied.
Ignitus looked at her confused.
"Malefor?" He asked.
"The Dark Master" Cynder said.
"Right..." Ignitus said.
"What are you doing?" Ignitus asked.
"That, Ignitus is non of your concern" she said.
"Why are you trying to free him then?" Ignitus asked.
Cynder stayed silent. She sighed as Gaul came from the Swamp. Gaul approached the two dragons.
"Well, well, well if it isn't the legendary Ignitus." Gaul said.
"It's here." Gaul said to Cynder.
Cynder nodded.
"We are offering you to become allies." Cynder said all of a sudden.
"Allies?? Are you insane??" Ignitus yelled.
"Temporarliy, we will wipe your memore after you have done your things" Cynder said.
"What is it?" Ignitus asked.

"My Dreadwings have spotted an ancient creature that has come from beneath the earth and has the power to wipe out the entire Realm." Gaul said.
"The entire Realm?" Ignitus asked.
"Yes, we must be quick. Usually it would me summoned by the Dark Master...but for some unkown reason it has come." Gaul said.
"Does it sound familiar?" Cynder asked.
"In the phrophecies?"
"The Destroyer? Thats impossible." Ignitus said shocked.
"Yes, and we do not want it to destroy the Realm, otherwise all of us will be dead, and no one will be left....nothing." Gaul said.
"Isn't that better?" Cynder asked sarcastically.
"No-one will be left to free him" Gaul said.
"What about my companions?" Ignitus asked.
"They've already agreed." Cynder said.

Ignitus thought of the purple dragon. Perhaps he would be of help? No he's too young.
"Very well, I will help...on one condition..." Ignitus said.
"What?"Gaul asked.
"After the fall of the Destroyer, there will be no more war. NO more fighting and you'll let all the craetures you've enslaved free." Ignitus said.
Gaul and Cynder looked at eachother.
"When Malefor comes back....his lust for power will still be in him, and therefore the war continues." Gaul said.
"This is pointless, a war just stops, and then goes again?" Ignitus asked.
"No more attacks for 2 whole years" Cynder said.
2 years sounded like a long time...but it was quite short..but Ignitus thought of it long and hard, it would be better for everyone, for many reasons not to fear getting killed, and more time for the purple dragon to grow. But ignitus knew how the Apes were, they would never keep their word.

Spyro opened one eye. He looked at Sparx who was already starting to wake up. He got up.
"Sparx, Sparx, wake up! Sparx!!"He yelled.
Sparx flew from the ground.
"Y-yes master." He said.
Spyro rolled his eyes.
"We need to find mom and dad!" He said.
"Right!" Sparx said.
As Spyro took his first step. He felt a vibration on the ground, and in the distance hear a crushing sound, like giant footsteps.
He paused and looked at Sparx.
Sparx was already looking around frantically.
"What is that?" Spyro asked.
The booming sound was getting louder and louder.
Then with the loudest sound they've heard, they saw a massive head above them, bigger than the Apes, bigger than a tree it was the biggest thing they've ever seen. Lava dripped from it's head, splashing down on the trees and the shrubs. A giant foot raised, above Spyro and Sparx coming down right on top of them....they were going to get squashed!! It was too late to run, too late to do anything, hardly not enough tim for one heartbeat....
