There are some things Spirit Gems can't buy, bur for everything else, there's Dragon of Prophecy.

I too finished it around five times, though only once I decided to keep the abilities kept in a previous save file (in my others I just start from scratch!).

Also, does anyone remember the IGN review based on The Eternal Night? I saw in one of the questions that near the end for A New Beginning they wanted to slowly introduce more characters that would eventually end up in TEN. They stated that the ape that picked up Cynder's egg during Ignitus's retelling of the fall of the temple was Gaul, but he looked nothing LIKE Gaul! >.>
