This is 2 related suggestions I have

1

An option to unread a post and all posts after it, so you can read on later. Useful for when you want to catch up on debates, RPs, and Fanfics that you haven't been reading for a while, but there's to much to read in one hit.

2

An option to make a post-edit unmarked. To avoid disrupting readers of the thread with new posts. e.g. you might want to edit the 1st post of a thread to alleviate any issues for new readers, without affecting old readers to much (When there might be >100 pages say)
