dark gem coastal remains [CLOSED]

i know this question has been asked before but i want to know how to get to the cannon after going past round the egg i cant seem to get to the cannon because of the steel things that are there any suggestions i need to get this dark gem to move on

why can't you get to it? when you see the area just glide to the dark gem
