It dosn't bother me, Heck I use it once in a while, I'm not proud of it, But I can't deny that I do.

Or even any joke regarding ethnic backgrounds. I have Polish in my blood, but I don't get all bent out of shape about the jokes, It's fun to hear them and add your own.

Jokes about ethnic group, color, hair color, Country, leader, IQ, Etc. I know there are alot, But I don't have time to think about every one, But when you hear a joke it's ment to break the ice, so to speak. But there are mean jokes out there too, I don't go sperading those on a regular basis, It's not my nature.

Well to tell you the truth the "n word" is only black in spanish. so i gess it would't matter unless you used in the wrong way. (waits for wanderist to ask the the "nword" is smilie )

As for racism not being a reportable crime here on the forums, it probably isn't because it would fall under the harassment or abuse categories.

In the Tagalog language (Philippines), "negra" means a black female and "negro" means a black male. We have no stigma and it is perfectly normal to say it even on TV there.

Now there is a "negative" form of these words (won't tell) that are racism. That's the bad stuff.

The "n word" here is not either one of those words. I can't type it out, but isn't even spelled like "negro" or even "nigro". The word itself has it's roots in those words, but it is not the same word.

I don't know the exact Spanish word, but I do know that it is not the same word as the "n word". (Dang, this would be so much easier if I could just type it out, but the number of minors on this site and my own society sort of forbids even doing that.)

dark52, do you have any reservations about having that word written out here for academic reasons?
