He was at the crater he had fallen asleep in when he had run away from his Brother, weeping over the new loss of his mother, it was here were he found that thing that haunted him.
Again the light…
He awoke suddenly, he was not at Duen or the crater; he was in his quarters aboard the Mystique, sailing away from his homeland to visit the dragon temple. He sighed tiredly; he must have only been asleep for a few hours. His claws itched, but he made no move to scratch them. Subject 13… is that... Me?

He walked out onto the main deck of the Mystique and propped his front claws on the rail, looking out over the sea; it was a beautiful thing. He longed to fly over it but knew it was a bad idea; he would risk losing the ship over the hundreds of miles of seemingly endless ocean in every direction. Flash! The summons to the temple arriving at his home. Flash! He was falling over the side of the ship… “Help…” he muttered weakly, but it was too early in the morning, no-one was on deck to hear him. Flash! Twisting in the air, enjoying flying in the sun alongside his friends. Flash! He hit the water, hard, fading from consciousness...

Temporary project abortion.
Thyne opened his eyes a fraction of an inch, he was on a warm bed, with a fire crackling merrily in the center of the circular room he was in. He instantly counted out being on the Mystique as it had wooden walls and the room he was in seemed to be made of a dark substance, after a few minutes he realized what it was, Obsidian. He shivered lightly; Obsidian was usually associated with evil in his land. He tried to get up, but was instantly hindered by sharp pains in his shoulder and the base of his right wing. “I wouldn’t do that if I were you, appears you broke them.” A voice from the other side of the room said. Thyne looked around, there was no-one. “Well I see you can’t see in the dark, so here I am in the light.” The voice said lightly, as if speaking to a child; then out stepped its owner, a great, old, black dragon.

Well heres a bit more, and the story develops...

“Ah, young dragon, I have something of a quest for you.” Thron, the old dragon, said. It was the next day and Thyne found that he liked the old one. “But… But my wing and shoulder! Their broken! I can’t move!” Thyne Gasped from the cot on which he lay. “The quest I must give you does not require much movement, but instead it is inside you. I ask you to help me, by simply getting in touch with this… Voice.” He was of course referring to the voices Thyne heard in his head. “Now, start by clearing your mind, and tell me what you see…”

“Mrs. Galvin, is the system running again!?” a deep voice boomed.
“No VIX, the system may be down for some days before we can link back with subject’s 12 and 13.” A lighter, bored voice sounded.
“Well hurry up, we waste millions every day we must wait!” the deeper voice continued.
Icyne cave, unknown
Thyne Gasped, he was afraid of what he heard, almost as afraid as going to the dragon temple…

Hope you like the new insight; youll find out WHY he's so afraid to go to the temple later, he doesent even know yet.

And now Im double posting

It was two weeks later; Thyne mindlessly stared at the Obsidian wall, thinking increasingly evil thoughts.
I’m affected by Thron. Thyne realized I’ll have to be more careful, I think he wants me to be evil! This realization didn’t affect him, but made him strangely happy. Heartened for reasons he himself didn’t even know, he cleared his mind, the past weeks had been filled with this exercise.

“So it’s up?” VIX asked
“Yes we will attempt to pull the creature out, temporarily” Lauren Galvin replied, typing furiously over a computer.
attempt to pull what creature out? Thyne thought Vaguely.
“Pulling #13 out” Galvin finished
Icyne cave
“What!?” Thyne yelled, breaking the trance “Pull me out!?”
“Pull you out of wha-” started Thron, but Thyne didn’t hear the rest of the sentence. Instead he heard VIX’s voice “Welcome to your temporary home, soldier.”

Thyne stared at the man he had seen so often calmly, and decided to instill some fear in him. “Hello DIX, were is lovely Lauren? Ah, there she is…” He stared into her eyes and saw that she feared him. “So DIX I see you have this machine working for you, is your wife okay, I heard she was ill…” He continued, redirecting his focus back to DIX.” The man didn’t show fear on his facial expressions, odd enough as they were, but a bead of sweat dripped down his temple. He must not have expected me to know anything… Thyne realized He must have expected me to panic and fear him! Thyne’s new evil soul compelled his forward, “Yes I know much!” he was getting cocky “And instead of me fearing you, you fear me scum!” He was being drove to madness by his hatred of the ape-like creature before him, how dare he attempt to control Thyne’s life, it was his own! “And now you die!” Thyne roared at DIX, rushing him, he lost consciousness before he made it within ten feet of the man…
