Today my brother saw my Sony Ericcson W810's status. He appreciated the brief wallpaper that I put on but thought he could find a theme on the Internet to expand on it. Turns out we found a few but I wanted to customise some of the uglier ones.

Then I found a program that would actually make skins for a select set of mobile phone models (i.e. it's restricted to Nokia and SE models). Eight hours of constant playing around gave me the result of a Legend of Spyro mobile theme

I made a version for the W810, and here is a sample of the results that came through. These are just preview shots, no personal information about my phone has been put on at all.



If you have a W810 model and want to try it for yourself, you can click here. But if you have a different Nokia/SE model and you still want to have a go with it, I'll configure them for that particular model.

Yeah. I once tried to make a Spyro screensaver by taking a photo of the STD cover using the phone camera (Wasn't very good since it ended up all squint and pixelated)

I know what you mean - my phone camera is rubbish. I do have a stunning picture of my favourite beach as my wallpaper though (one of the only pics that came out ok).

I have to sony ericson W300 will it still work

The setup is very similar, though I'm concerned if some of the images in the skin would stretch in size on your phone due to the screen resolutions for the W300. I can easily configure a version for that phone tho.

how do you get it on your phone

I can transfer it using a USB device to connect from my phone to the computer. Did your phone come with one?

I need a new mobile... I've had mine 3 years now...

Doubt I'll get either of those two models mentioned though, sorry. I have a Sagem phone at the moment.

aww man! my phone is new, it's a motorola and i'm a huge spyro fan! i should of got a sony ericcson phone shouldn't i?
