I think Hunter's okay. At least he doesn't look like Chester Cheetah anymore, who was a weird cat by the way...

Insomniac Hunter: funny, a bit arrogant, clumsy, but likable

EtD: hit with the slow, ugly and dumb stick, like everything else

AHT: total ass

LoS: so serious I laughed every time I saw him, still kind of cool-looking

Insomniac Hunter was the best.

I laugh every time I watch the 'second warning' movie "Hey! She's kinda cute when she's angry..." smilieDD

LoS Hunter is okay. But he's just so serious. He and Sparx were the main comedians. And Spyro would be the facepalm guy. Good times, good times...

Oh lord, if Hunter was the comic relief in LoS, no wonder it was too serious! smilie (Alas, I know the truth: Sparx was the sole comic relief and he was only funny by accident or when Billy West was voicing him.)

I liked Hunter in YotD. I didn't like him in AHT or DotD. In AHT, I thought he was too conceited ("Haha, I rock!"...) and had not much of a personality in DotD (though I have to admit his design was very nice).

I smell furries... or is it me?

Yeah, I like Hunter's DotD design the best; he doesn't look like the stereotypical "anthro cat" like those of games today. Of course, he's not a Latino black panther who makes you bow before his rose, but still...

Alas, if only you knew. DotD Hunter is a pretty generic cheetah/lynx/big cat hybrid. He's neat-looking, but I've seen better done by non-paid artists who just wanted to draw an anthropomorphic cheetah/big cat.

Oliver Wade, Hunter's designer, thinks the new one is cool.

"Whoa! That Hunter is quite a bit different. I don't know what they did with him personality-wise but he doesn't look quite as clumsy or funny now. I like the design but I hope they changed his personality too."

Yeah, because no cat can match that of Panther... XP

I don't know though; I just like the newer design better; doesn't look as creepy as the older one (as in design wise; but that's also 10 year old hardware now...)

God, i remember Hunter sayingin EtD "Heyyyy, Spyyyrroooo! I think I see something shhhiinnnyyyy ovveerrrr on that leeeddgggge!" His voice was so drawn out in that game smilie
