Another fanfiction about a Spyro or dragon character. Following the story of Atay, a young dragon who was left at birth near an ocean cove. This story follows the tale of her growing up by herself and then seeking to explore the world.

Part 1:


A chilly breeze bringing the promise of winter swept through the hollow rock walls of a damp cave. Atay, a young cream coloured dragon slowly rose to feel herself buffeted by the cool wind.

She yawned then flicked her tail about irritably, the nutritious grass growing around the edge of her stone cave had stopped growing and wilted away a couple of days ago. Atay, up until now had had to live on the measly sardines that she had barely managed to collect into a pitiful pile.

The young dragon stretched her forelegs and shoulders before stepping quietly into the salty ocean air. All the edible plants have wilted away and the schools of fish have decreased far more quickly then last year. And winter's breeze has come early. I'm running out of things to eat and ... I've got to stock up for winter. Mother nature is ...harsh. How will I survive? How will I find food for the winter? She thought gloomily.
