This original coz I basically think he looked fine as he was before they started mucking about with his looks.

Either hero or legend. I thought that error didn't look like Spyro at all!

I like legend the best I don't know why Spyro just looks really cool

Oddly, I kinda liked Error-era Spyro in terms of design, in spite of the missing irises. The critics have generally said that when it came to the graphical side to Enter the Dragonfly, the team put in a lot of effort in Spyro's model and it actually showed well enough thanks to some good scale texturing work, additional details and whatnot.

But nothing beats the original, I say, though then again I started from the original so of course I might have a bias for a brash look that served well in pushing the power of the PlayStation1 back in the day

Spyro 1 was actually done by a different person to Spyro 2 +3 and ETD

Spyro 1 was done by Carlos Alazarique (Is that spelt right?) and Spyro 2+3 and ETD was done by Tom Kenny

To be honest I prefer Tom Kenny, he really suited Spyro but Elijah Wood ws pretty good too

Hmm... I wasn't too keen on the AHT one but the rest we're ok

Nothing beats Tom Kenny, though Elijah Wood did a sweet job as well. The voice for A Hero's Tail (Jess Harnell), while a fitting attempt to emulate the original Spyro voice (Carlos Alazraqui, or however the hell you spell it), ended up a to be a little grating in certain parts, as well as sounding as if he had a sore throat (not my words, someone else mentioned it on another forum lol).

I agree with SpyroAndSparx. The original model, and voiced by Tom Kenny.

Original all the way. Tom Kenny's voice was good for Spyro, even if it was the voice of Spongebob.

Heh, wut? Given the voice tones between the pair, that just tells me that Kenny's a versatile voice actor. I mean, if ANY of his roles for the Spyro series needed the comparison to Spongebob, odds are it'll be the Professor.

He also did the Professor (I think), Sgt. Byrd, and various other characters that I don't remember at the moment.

I am clueless on matters like this. :rolleyes: I never knew who voiced animated characters in films (still don't know even though I don't watch those films any more) and now I hardly ever remember the actors' names in films. I am hopeless!

Hmmmm..... I kinda liked AHT voice, even though he kinda sounded drunk. I can't say what my fave is.

I like his looks in GtG and YotD, and I like Tom Kenny's Spyro voice.

i pick original for design, cos thats spyro's true first look. and i liked voice 2 best. it suited spyro more.

I've gotta ssay this after trying to force myself to play ETD again: he moves so freaking slow! And he looks drunk-happy in it! I love ANB and the original looks and voices.
