Mhrikandor woke up. He looked around. He remembered nothing about the last night. Only that he has passed out by a pain in his leg. When he looked at it he saw that his wound was covered by a silverleaf. He wondered where he was and how he had came here. Then he heard a voice behind him.
??: I was wondering when you would wake up.
He turned to the voice and saw Shadowmoon.
MK: What happened?
SM: What made you go in there even as I warned you?
Mhrikandor just looked back at her. He remembered nothing of what he thought, only that he maybe should had listened to her this time.
MK: Where are we?
SM: Where did you go?
He just looked in one of her red eyes as she turned it to him. Every time it felt as if looking on something that was locked in, that wanted to be released, but was it´s own doorguard. He remembered when this thing had been released. He was still not sure on why he had survived. How much she even explained to him, he just didn´t understand it.
SM: Are you sure you need no more sleep?
MK: Don´t you have anything better to do?
SM: I see you learn fast. Maybe soon you to will be able to... Avoid questions... But you still has a lot to learn. I have many different things to do right now, but none as important as you.
MK: And still I were in a sea of flame not so very long ago...
SM: You know what I´ve said about it. You worry with no need. As long as I can keep you away from them, I will never hurt you.
She walked up to him.
SM: You should sleep some more. You had a hard night.
MK: I maybe can sleep if you just answer my questions.
SM: If you just had done as I told you, I would have no need of these questions, and you would not lie here, with just enough energy to stand up alone.
MK: Ok, I get it. Why do you have to talk about it all the time I make a misstake?
SM: Because I care about you, Flame Arrow.
Mhrikandor sat down.
MK: Sometimes I wish you didn´t care so much.
She lay down beside him and looked at him with her red eyes. In sunrise, he thought they looked like jewelry.
SM: I´m always here for you. I´m not going to leave you, because then you will get in trouble immediatly. And you know it.
MK: I guess so then.
He could feel her eyes drawn to his wound.
SM: How does it feel?
MK: It still hurts. Maybe you´re right. I maybe should sleep some more.
He leaned on her body and could feel her heartbeats. He looked into her eyes. Just like her claws, each was the same size as him.
MK: Maybe I should had listened to you. You were right all along.
SM: Yes, but it all went fine in the end luckily.
And then she laid her wing over him, and they fell to sleep together.

More is coming

When Mhrikandor waked up he felt something was missing. When he looked to the cavewall he saw something was cut into it. When he went over to look at it, he saw it was a sort of map over a nearby forest. Beside it were a claw. Then he noticed Shadowmoon was gone. Looking back at the markings, he understood she had flew out for hunting. He remembered about when she were small. How she had come home in the evening and showed up her prey with proud. He didn´t know what she did with it after showing it up, but for some reason, he found one or two feathers in his bed it looked as if it was a battlefield. Strangely enough, it had all stopped when she one night had jumped up into his bed. He had let her sleep there with him. He remembered about the morning after. He were given about five seconds of wakeup before she had jumped onto him to say goodmorning. He still couldn´t remember how he had made her stop licking him and allow him to go. Every time he thought about it he just couldn´t help smiling a little. This was when Shadowmoon came back.
SM: Let me guess, you think about old times?
MK: Yes, how did you know?
SM: If you are thinking about it, I just need to look at you to know.
This just made Mhrikandor smile even more. He always forgot how hard it was to hide things from her.
MK: I´m starting to wonder if there is anything you don´t know about me.
SM: I´m sure there is something. You are a very... Different person, when compared to other of your kind, Flame Arrow.
He noticed something changed with her. At first he din´t know what, but then he saw it.
MK: You´re missig them, right?
SM: Yes, Flame Arrow. I miss them... It was so long since I last saw them...
MK: Don´t worry. I know we will find them.

Mhrikandor looked up to the nightsky. It was just one week after he waked up and saw that Shadowmoon had put a silverleaf on is wound. His wound had healed three days ago thanks to the silverlef, but he still carried it. Mostly because it gave a little protection. But even because they were so hard to come over. Even when they had healed the original wound, they offered some protection. But they also had a little power left. Enough to heal wounds from when you had just passed through those bushes. But this night bushes would be their least problem. He turned to Shadowmoon beside him.
MK: Their camp is just below this hill. We are hidden from them, so before we start, is there anything you would want to tell me about what to do?
She just started to smile.
SM: Only to survive.
Mhrikandor turned to the camp again. It was about 30 tents down there, and each tent was large enough for three persons. He thought it won´t be easy.
MK: I would guess it is about 90 soldiers down there...
SM: Let it be 90000 and I still won´t care! Not even if it were all soldiers in the whole world! No, all soldiers in every world! And I still would try!
Mhrikandor saw that she was very angry now.
MK: Don´t worry. Last time we underestimated them. Now, they are underestimating us.
He turned to the camp and thought about that night when he first was surrounded by soldiers, then by flames. Shadowmoons explanation was hard to understand, but she had made it without him even sweating. He decided to take care just in case.
SM: What´s worrying you, Flame Arrow?
MK: I´m thinking about how to do this.
SM: Don´t worry. I can try to explain it better later, but you won´t burn unless I really want you to.
She also turned to the camp. Mhrikandor could see that her eyes were burning with rage and anger. Those who sruvived their instantly charge, would not see themselves lucky. Those eyes didn´t promise a swift death.
MK: Well, my friend, are you ready?
SM: I am always ready. The question is, are you sure you can handle it?
MK: It is long since I accepted that I can´t change.

Mhrikandor pulled out his sword from the body before him. It was two months since their last battle, so he had forgot Shadowmoons way of fighting. He thought back on the first time they were in a battle. They had been ambushed by three bandits. Once it was over, he needed five days before he could manage to speak to her again. Since then he slowly started to be used to her way of fighting. Before, he would nearly pass out seeing how she fought, but now he didn´t care so much about it. After several years together, he acted on it like a machine. Without thinking, he avoided things that were flying in his direction, giving them no thought. And he no longer cared about the blood he found on the side she had fought on. Even if it was on his clothes. Thinking about how he had changed, he always were reminded that every day, they were coming closer to each other. Yet, some times, he wished she would be so wild.
MK: You know, it would be nice if I could have someone to ask questions to,
SM: Nothing they know would interest us, or be new to us.
He turned to face the largest tent. Beside it there was a fence. He could hear sound coming from there.
MK: They do know how to keep someone or something locked up.
SM: Do you really think we lack that ability?
He looked around as she walked over to the fence. Once he was sure that no soldier had survived the attack, he followed her. He could hear that she talked to someone.
SM: Don´t worry, I am here now. You are safe now. I won´t allow anyone to hurt you and get away wuthout punishment.
Mhrikandor looked at her and those she talked with. He felt that something was missing for him. Shadowmoon must have felt it, for she went over to him.
SM: Flaming Arrow, we will never leave you. You are our friend.
MK: It´s not that.
She looked at him.
SM: Of all things I ever have or had or will have, there is only two other living beings that has the same importance to me as you have.
Mhrikandor just looked at her, and slowly, he began to understand what she had said.
SM: Flamin Arrow, you are a member of our family just as much as anyone of us.
Suddenly he felt that something touched his legs. When he looked down, he saw Shadowfang and Bloodmoon. He sat down beside them.
SM: We would not be here if it wasn´t for you. If you not are worthy to become a member of our family, none would be.
He didn´t say a word. Shadowfang had climbed onto his shoulders and laid herself down to sleep, while Bloodmoon had jumped up into his knee and pushed him easily. He thought on Shadowmoons words as his hand was moving along Bloodmoons back. He could feel how she moved a little to follow his hand. He remembered all times he had sat like this with Shadowmoon when she was young.
SM: You know we will never leave you, because we know you will never leave us.
He felt that Shadowfang had fell to sleep. Carefully, he lifted her down and put her on a piece of cloth. Then he took another piece and lay it on her. Once he was done with it, he could feel Bloodmoon pushing him easily again, wondering why he took time now that her sister had a warm place to sleep.

Mhrikandor felt that something touched his legs. When he looked down, Shadowfang stood there.
MK: I thought you were tired.
She just looked at him with her red eyes. The same red eyes that her mother had. Lifting her, she put her down on his shoulders, where she immediatly lay down. She always lay on his houlder like her mother had done. Bloodmoon was more interested in laying in his knee and getting attention while Shadowfang liked to sleep near him. And he liked having her sleep there. Being close to them, he could easier feel the bond they shared.
MK: Well, I guess more than I are allowed to see tonights view.
Shadowfang answered by easily pushing her head against his, moving it up and down. He knew that this was a way for them to show feelings, as if she had hugged him. He easily moved his hand along her, just as he did with Bloodmoon when she jumped into his knees.
MK: The moon is soon clear. One night without worrying about to strong enemies will do good.
She just moved her head a little faster.
MK: In the forest down there it is.
She looked at him with her red eyes and blinked. Many would say that she didn´t understand, that she needed an explanation. But for Mhrikandor, who had lived with her and her sister and mother for a long time, he knew that it meant that she understood it perfectly. They went down the hill to the forest.

Shadowfang looked back at Mhrikandor. He knew that is would be impossible for him to keep up with her when she speeded on, so he just did his best to lower the time she would need to wait for him. Reaching her, he immediatly saw what had made her stop. On the ground before him was a little hill, about two centimetres high. For him, it would be as invisible. But for Shadowfang, or her sister or mother, it could just as well have a glowing sign saying thet is was here.
MK: I´m really glad you went with me so I didn´t miss it.
She just looked at him with pride in her eyes. He digged a seven centimetres deep hole in the ground before he found what he wanted. He lifted up a medallion. It was purely black, with the exception for the front, were a red flame had been painted. Even as it was black, he knew that the material it was made of were more valuable than gold, then what was inside it, was even more valuable.
MK: I think we found it.
Shadowfang just jumped up on his shoulders again.
MK: I wish I could see as good as you could.
Their eyes meet, and he looked into two red rubies directed at him. Eyes glowing like rubies. But with a beatu that could kill. Mhrikandor had never heard about any eyes that were more beatiful. This kind of eyes were in all sorts of color. And they all had the same beatu as hers. A beatu that could kill a human just as easy as it would crush an insect. It was eyes that belonged to a dragon.

Mhrikandor looked down at the city that lay at the foot of the hill. It was two months before he had found the medallion with Shadowfang. When Shadowmoon had opened it, the clues inside it showed the way to this place. He knew that it would not be easy.
MK: I think that the way with the lowest guarding will be the north.
Bloodmoon just looked at him. For one scond, it looked as if she smiled at him.
BM: Then maybe we should take the north entrance.
Just three weeks ago, she had found the crystal in a cave, and already it had teached her everything she needed to talk with humans.
MK: Yes, we shall take the north entrance.
BM: Then why do we look on it from the south?
Now he could see that she really smiled.
MK: Do you think it is funny? Being chased by men on horseback and forced to take a way that increases the time we need? Is that your way of having fun?
BM: Well, at least as long as I can look on it all and see it as if it is your fault. Which, it actually is. I told you to avoid the road.
He knew that there was no way to talk it away. It was always like this between them. She did something he just couldn´t helpt but smile a little at. Then he did a misstake that she laughed at. Then it started over again. He thought that she maybe kept it on by will. She seemed to like challenging him this way, and somehow, his misstakes was always the worst.
MK: I guess you will find many things to have fun at down there.
She just looked at him.
BM: I guess so. Either that, or you must promise to carry me and my sister next time we have to move over a great distance.
He saw that now, she really laughed at him.
MK: Come on, let´s go.

BM: I hate those stupid blockades!
Mhrikandor looked as Bloodmoon angrily drew out the spikes that were stuck in her wings. He hated them as well. The spikes were made so that the fell of the construction when they touchd something. Their shapre penetrated all kind of armor, and they were hard to draw out as well. They were not made to stop humans, so he could easily pass them. But for Bloodmoon it was harder. That was the reason he hated them to. Every time she or Shadowfang were forced to go trough one of these bloackades, he had to be very carefull not to turn their anger against him.
MK: Can I help you with anything?
BM: Yes! You can find the one who made these and tell him or her to change the construction. Maybe decorate it with his or her own head?
MK: I meant the spikes.
BM: Do you really think you need to ask that?
He saw how she tried to draw out a spike that were stuck in her wing. She would never be able to remove it herself without leaving a big open wound going right trough. He went over to her.
MK: Here, let me handle that.
Slowly and carefully, he twisted it and then removed it, trying to make as little damage as possible. Bloodmoon loked at the hole in her wing.
BM: I survive, but I can´t keep spying around the corner for you anymore.
He to looked at the hole.
MK: Are you sure you are fine?
He didn´t like the look of it. At first, it would seem like nothing, but the hole itself wasn´t dangerous. The dangerous was how much damage the wing had taken around the hole. There was a chance that if she flapped her wings or it started to blow to much, the hole could get bigger. In that case, it could be very hard to heal it.
BM: I said that I´m fine!
MK: I´m still worried. There might be a storm soon. I´m not sure how you would survive it.
He carefully placed her on his shoulder. Then he took a piece of cloth and carefully bound it around her. Then he took a silverleaf, placed it over the hole, and put the cloth over. Then he made it go under her wing and back to where it was bound, creating a cover for the hole.
MK: There, that should do it.
She just looked into his eyes, and he saw something new. He had never seen it in her eyes before, and never thought he would. He had seen it in her sister, Shadowfang, before, but never in Bloodmoon. When he now looked into her eyes, he for the very first time, saw that she, Bloodmoon, who always were as a rock, protecting her younger sister, giving her courage when she was afraid. Now, it was Bloodmoon who had fear shine in her eyes as if she just had seen something terrible or worse.
MK: What is it?
BM: What if we are to late, what if something has happened to them?
MK: Don´t worry, it will go fine. I know it.
She just drawed herself closer to his head, her eyes changing a little, showing another new feeling. At first he didn´t recognise it. But then he felt it. She licked him easily.
BM: If you say they are fine, then I believe you.
Mhrikandor started to wonder if there was any other feelings she might have for the first time tonight. He was a little surprised, since she only have shown kindness to her mother and sister before. Seeing it, she drawed herself closer to him.
BM: Flaming Arrow, I´m afraid. Afraid to fail, that my sister will die because of me. I should be with her. I must. I don´t know. If something happens, and I´m not there, I´m afraid of what will happen to her.
Mhrikandor thought back on all the times Shadowfang were worried. Whenever somethng happened, she was afraid. Shadowfang always was afraid to loose her friends. And it was only Bloodmoon that knew how to make her forget her fears. He doubted that Shadowfang would be able to survive long without the wings of her older sister close enough to reach with a single jump when it all went to dangerous and she was scared.
MK: Don´t worry, she will be fine. As long as we can complete our task, I see no reason to what should happen to her. And our task is simple, so I doubt we will fail.
Bloodmoon moved even closer to him. Now he could feel how she tried to copy a human hugging by circling her body around him on his shoulders. She licked him, and he allowed himself a little smile, just enough to show that he belivied himself what he had said.

Shadowfang looked around the market square. It was empty, but she still didn´t like this. She wished that Flaming Arrow had understood her, that she to had found a crystal in the caves. Right now, being different didn´t feel so extraordinary after all. If she just had found a crystal, she wouldn´t be here right now, she would not have this feeling that something will go wrong. But she had to go on. They had received a new chance. After five million years, they were granted a new chance. And she would play an important role in it. She could not allow herself to fail. Failure now would be as if she just had defeated a large army, against impossible numbers, but then, just as her victory would be declared, a bolt of thunder would struck her down. That´s how she thought failure now to be. That´s when she heard it. Something moved behind her. Turning around, she saw her misstake. She were wrong. Failure now would not feel like that, it would feel like as if she were overwhelmed by an even large army that had been hided. There was no idea to run. That was her last thoughts as she felt a hard blow hit her head. Before she passed out, she could see someone moving toward her with a smile, a purple crystal in his hands. Another one came from the other direction, carrying a silver necklace with an emerald. Then, there was only darkness.

As she looked over the plains, Shadowfang counted the time. Three months and five days since they had opened her neck and place the crystal in there, enchanting it with a spell that would show them where she was. Since then, she had been trying to escape them. But she had to hurry. Soon, the double moons would touch each other, the smaller hiding behind the larger, and she had to reach the ruins before that. Otherwise they would be able to sense her powers break out, long before the Ksias crystal in her neck would show them where she was. She wished that she was wrong, that she had more time, but she knew it was nothing to do. She had seen the green star. She knew what it meant. The night of two was near. She looked down at the scar on her neck, the only reminder of the crystal. She knew that if she couldn´t hide her power outbreak among the ruins in time, she would never be able to escape long enough to find someone to remove it. And she did not intend to remove it by waiting for those who placed it in her. If they found her when she was near those ruins, they would remove it. But she doubted that they would allow her to leave. They would just chain her to the ground where they were summoning it´s power. She did not intend to allow another world to be destroyed. Especially not, since she had heard that in this world they did not know so much about these things. She had made a misstake, but she would not allow it to happen again. She would never again lead that dragon of the combined elements to another world he could destroy. Just to a world where he could not find her. She had tears in her eyes as she remembered the Blood dragon she had found the last time. How she had seen him die, laid down to die bleeding by the wounds of the green dragon. Even the Knight of Destruction who she had meet during her search for help could not match that green dragon. She remembered how she had been near to death when the knight sneaked back to rescue her. How she were near to kill herself as she saw the corpse of the red dragon burn, how she nearly had thrown herself into the fire to meet him again, to once more be allowed to feel his wings moving along her body, to look at the stars in the night with someone she really liked at her side. That day, her dreams of a family, had been removed from her. Since that day, she had never felt love again. She just saw how the dragon of Blood she had loved were laying there, bleeding to death, slowly and painfully, just because she had made a misstake. She promised to herself now that she would not let it go unpunished. She would increase her powers, disable the relic known as the star, remove the crystal, and prevent them from invoking the Orruption. She would then find and slay the green dragon with a black combination, slay him, leaving him to die, using her powers to make his death longer and more painfull. Yes. She would make him die slowly, watching every moment. If anyone dares to interrupt her revenge, if anyoe dares to kill him before she gives her permission, then she will have another to hunt down. She would not allow anyone to stop her. And none who had more intelligence than an insect would dare to challenge her right to be his executioner. None would dare to kill him without her permission unless they had lost the ability to think. And she would make sure it will be painfull. Yes. For those who died with that world, but, most of all, for her love to that Blood dragon. He had been so cute, so strong. He had been taken from her just when she had choosed to reveal her feelings. He were just to tell her what he was feeling for her, when he had been taken away from her. Once again, she saw how he had been laying there, dying from his wounds, a slow death. Her tears fell again, and she hit a rock with her claws. Normally it would just leave a scratch, but now, she was empowered by her rage and hate. She hated it, because it looked just like the stone they had sat on when she told him how she felt. A crack appeared where she had hit it, and, three seconds later, it fell into one millions small pieces. She would be even harder when she found that green dragon. Slow, painfull and terrible. That, was how his death would be seen. Even those others who had suffered because of him would think that it was to terrible, even to punish him. But for Shadowfang, it was to little. She would do it even worser if she just could. And anyone who dared interrupt, would suffer the same fate. She drawed a circle on the ground. Then it started to glow red. She jumped into it, and disappeared. Four seconds later, the circle disappeared as well. But something that remained, was the shadow that stood among the trees. A shadow that now started to move. A nearby bird heard something but didn´t understand it. And besides, why would a bird be interrested in the laugh of humans?

MK: Don´t cry, please.
Bloodmoon didn´t hear him, or she didn´t pay any attention. She just continued to cry. Evven as Shadowmoon put a wing around her and drawed her close, she still cried. Mhrikandor looked at her, and he felt that he to might soon cry. He had really liked Shadowfang. He remembered about the nights, when she just like her mother had arrived to him, proudly showing her prey. He felt tears started to appear in his eyes, and he went over to the others. He lay down beside them, sharing their sadness.
BM: I... I knew it... I shouldn´t... Shouldn´t go away from her. If I... I just had... Went together with her, then... Then it might not... Not have happened.
Mhrikandor put his hand on her head, and for a second, their eyes met each other in what seemed to be an eternity.
MK: She will be fine, I am sure of it. She can take care of herself, I know it. Just think of when you will be reunited.
He tried to smile, as if he believed it himself. The problem was, he didn´t. He also thought that she might have problems she couldn´t handle now. With a last attempt to present a smile, he moved his hand along her body. He saw she started to smile.

BM: You´re... You´re right... She can take care of herself... It´s just... It´s just that I´m worried for... For things she can´t change... For things she can´t affect...
Mhrikandor looked at her.
MK: You don´t need to worry. She will probable just escape if she encounters anything she can´t handle.
BM: Yes... But... But what if she forgets? What if... What if she encounters something that she during the night could defeat, but not during day? What if... If she forgets her weakness?
MK: Then, I promise, I will not rest before I have avenged her. I promise you.
SM: Then you will have to stay awake forever, because I will not let anyone of you do it.
They looked at Shadowmoon as she went down to land.
SM: You know the difference between your powers. If she can´t defeat that thing, then you are even more without hope of defeating it.
BM: Yes, but... But what shall we do? I... I just can´t leave her!
SM: I didn´t ask you to abandon her, just to think before you go into something you can´t do.
MK: What? Do you mean that you have a plan?
SM: Of course Flaming Arrow, you forget that I always have a plan.
MK: Then what is it?
SM: The only way to help her, if from someone who can avoid being seen.
BM: Wait... Do you mean them?
SM: Yes, my daughter. I am talking about those without name.
MK: Wait a minute. This is the second time I hear about them, and yet none has explained it to me!
??: Because it has not yet become time, Flaming Arrow.
Mhrikandor turned around and saw a white young dragon floating in the air without even using his wings.
GS: I am one of them without name, but to your kind, human, I am known as Golden Star.
BM: You! I remember you! I saw you with her that night.
GS: Yes. That was me.
MK: What are you talking about?
SM: It was long ago, when you were gone to buy things.
MK: Can you possible tell me more?
SM: No, we have promised to never tell anyone.
BM: And besides, I still would not talk about it before she came to me to talk of it.
Golden Star began to fade. First he could be seen clearly, but then, it was as if he were slowly becoming invisible.
GS: Don´t worry. I will find you sister. I can already now feel her. I can already sense how she is preparing to escape. I will find her and I promise, before anything happens to her, I will have found her. And then, I will protect her, as is expected by my masters.
BM: And please, protect yourself to. She have already... Lost one friend to much.
GS: I know. But if I must, she is more important than me. She is important for your return, but even more so for us. Without her, our plane, will soon become shrouded in blood. Our only hope of surviving the coming darkness is if we have her aid.
Then he faded away completely.

Golden Star found Shadowfang chined to the ground in a circle of pillars formed by thunder. Before he could come close, he saw the pillar of lava shoot out beside here. He also saw that there was starting to appear cracks under her.
GS: Shadowfang! You must get away from there!
SF: How? I am chained, if you can´t see it! Besides, it is just a fitting punishment for my misstakes. It is just fitting that I should see what I have done.
GS: He doesn´t want to torture you by making you see it! He wants to kill you!
That was when she looked down.
SF: It´s... It´s to big! I can´t get away from it in time!
GS: You will!
Then he flew down. With a single bite, he cut the chain in two.
GS: Fly! Fly as if nothing else mattered!
SF: But... But what about you?
GS: I will stay here.
SF: Why? Come with me!
GS: No. He has found out that his plans are disturbed.
That was when a green portal opened and a green dragon came out.
Green Dragon: Well, it looks like our little bird has finally decided to show us her guardian. Nothing you can do will change it. I am a beyond all you can imagine! I am the bonds between the two!
GS: Yes. You have more power than any other dragon you have fought so far. But you have never fought anyone of me or my kind earlier!
SF: Golden Star, no. Come with me! I can´t bear loosing you as well!
GS: I will not let anyone harm you, Shadowfang. And know this. I always loved you. I love you, and always have.
He created a white orb around her.
GS: Now, it is time someone put an end to your plans.
Green Dragon: You might have put her out of danger, but I am not letting you escape!
Then he jumped against Golden Star.
SF: No!
GS: This is the end. I thought you were ready, that you would be the one to bring us our hope. I was wrong. But I will never again do anything like my failure. This is the end, Elementshadow!
The green dragon had a look of surprise as they collided, and then of rage.
GS: Now, it has come. The circle is finished!
Then a white flash came. Then, silence. Shadowfang watched as the thunder and lava all fell away. Nothing was left of the green dragon, and before her, she saw how Golden Star was lying on the ground. Along his body small lightning were going. The white orb disappeared, letting her out. She ran up to him.
SF: Golden Star. No! I... I can´t live without you!
GS: Shadowfang, you knew I did what I must... I... I have paid for my failures...
SF: No... You... You didn´t have to... To do this... This sacrifice!
GS: Yes, I did. I would gladly do it again if only that would ensure that you never were in danger again.
SF: But... But it means...
GS: Don´t worry. Sooner or later, my time will come. I will die, and then, we can meet again.
SF: But... But it will be so long... So long until it is over...
GS: I know, but I will endure, thanks to the knowledge I now have.
SF: What knowledge?
GS: That the reason I is under it, is because I saved you.
SF: Then... Then I will endure to... I will... Will endure the time until I can see you again.
GS: Yes... Think that way... Don´t feel sorry for me... Once my life is end, my soul will return to the temple where I will receive a new spirit. And then, I will return to you.
SF: Yes... Return to me, please. Return to me as fast you can... I don´t want to wait for you more than needed!
GS: And you will not have to wait more than needed.
SF: I... I will go... And tell them I´m sorry. Then... Then, I must visit the Shrine of the Fallen Stars...It´s been so long... And so much has happened... I... I must find rest, or I´m soon going mad... And then, once I had some true rest, then... Then I will find a Spirit Well. I... I will wait there... Wait, until you come. When you seek me, seek at the spirit wells in this world... That would be where I wait...
GS: I will. Now go, my friend. Go, before they come.
SF: I will...

GS: I just did what anyone would do to their queen. After you have done what you must, you will be our queen.
SF: Yes... But that is not yet... And I don´t want you to call me like that even then.
GS: But why?
SF: Because... You know the history. Queens, kings, empresses or emperors. They always had one thing together. They always had someone who did not call them with title... Someone who... Who they... Loved...
GS: If that is your wish, then I promise, I will never call you queen, and I will do as you ask of me as a friend. And I will never let you wait for one second to much.
SF: Yes... Return as fast you can...
GS: I will...
SF: Once you come back to me, I will show you what I have found. And then... Then I will show you around... I found... A hill... A hill that gives a wonderfull view of the moonrise...
GS: I promise, I will return to you faster than ever before.
SF: Thanks... Now... I will go... But... Whenever it gets hard, remember... I love you...
Then she softly licked him on his head. It was not the kind to clean his wounds, and it was not the kind she did when drinking the blood form her prey, but it was the kind given only to those you love. It was, the way a dragon would show their love in the ancient temple of the first shrine. They looked at each other, and they could both see a smile on the others face.
SF: I always love you... Remember that, whenever it becomes to much.
GS: I will, and then, I will remember the night on that hill, watching the moon with you.
SF: I will wait for you.
Then she flew away. She hide under a bush once she was above it, and, with a final look back, felt tears forming in her eyes as she saw the birds landing beside him. She did not dare think of what they had been instructed to do, but she promised herself, that if she ever found those responsible for this, she would show them how much powers she had gained from the Altar of Blood. Instead of the stealthy Altar of Night, she had gone to the Altar of Blood. And she would remember them why the Dragons of Blood were responsible for getting information from the captured agents of the Demon Soul. She would let them suffer just as the Dragons of Blood did to the most silently spies. An eternity, the greatest pain thinkable, multiplied with thousand in thousand over thousand. And as many years. Unlimited pain, and unlimited time. Then she flew away.

She did not think it to go so quick. First, she had arrived at the cave where she read of the Spirit Shrines of this world. Finally feeling that she would not go insane, she had laid down to sleep. But before she could, someone came. When she looked, she could not see anyone. But she could feel something.

SF: Golden Star... Is... Is it you?
Then a white dragon appeared in front of her out from nowhere.
GS: Yes... I have returned... They told me of how important you are. They also told me that none has ever sacrificed so much to protect them than I have. Without you, my friends and I are doomed. And they said, that I have sacrificed so much for your protection, that they would forever be in my debt. They also knows about our bonds, Shadowfang. And they said that only I knew how best to protect you... They gave me new life... Instead of giving me a piece of their strenght and let me become a fading spirit, fading into a Shragon of the Shadows, they gave me a whole new life. They gave me the choice of coming back to you as if I did survive stopping him.
SF: But... What did they sacrifice for you to come back?
GS: A Khra'Zax. I think you knew him. His name started with Z, and then rooz.
Shadowfang just couln´t stop smiling.
SF: Then it all goes as predicted. I told him he would regret betraying me, and I would give away anything if he doesn´t.
GS: Yes. That is one of the reason they choosed to hunt him down.
SF: I´m... I´m just happy you´re with me again.
With one single leap, she lay down beside him.
GS: I will always be with you. It´s just... Sometimes less or more than otherwise.
He laid one of his wings on her. She could feel his feelings. He was happy. At least as happy as her.
SF: Promise me that you never again will leave me.
GS: I promise. Not as your friend, not as your heart, but, I promise, to you, that I never will leave you again, Shadowfang, I promise, by my soul and by my lost blades, that I, Golden Star, will protect you, not as friend or heart, but as a Shragon of the Shadows would protect those they once loved. I may be brought back, but I will still protect you as if I were a Shragon of the Shadows. Who never rests, until they know that those they once loved are safe.
SF: And that... Is all that I would want from you.
GS: And that is what you shall get from me.
SF: Golden Star... Have you ever... Ever thought of... Of those who you know, but... But died because of you? Do you... Ever think of how your actions may have killed your friends?
GS: Yes. I always thinks of it. But, I have found, that if you think of it with not sadness, but with a promise of one day give back what you took from their families, a promise of other powers, it will work. Once we are done here, and the medallions are found, I will show you a power I recently discovered. This far, I alone knows about it. But know this. With this power, death is no longer a single direction. It is hard to use, but once mastered, it gives you choices you would never otherwise think of. Rest easy, because it will all become balanced out in the end. So it always have and always will.
SF: Thanks... I... I don´t think I could have... Been bearing it so much longer...
Then they sat there, silently, until the sun started to go down.
SF: Golden Star... There is one thing... One thing that I would like to show you... That I discovered here.
GS: What is that, my heart?
SF: Come.
And then they flew off. They landed on a hill.
SF: This hill. It... It is just like the one we first met.
GS: Yes... You´re right.
SF: I... I would want only one thing now, and that is, that you would want to sit here and watch the moon rise with me... Just like then...
GS: I will.
Then she laid down, exactly so close, that if he were a normal dragon, they would the touching each other. However, she knew he was not normal. He was one of Those without name. The only way they could touch each other was if he did the connection. Suddenly she could feel something around her neck. When she looked, she saw that he had laid his wing there. Then she could feel his body.
SF: We must return... I still have things to do here... I... I have set wheels moving, wheels that, unless stopped, will finally destroy this world. I led them here, and now, I must stop them. I will no more hide in the shadows while others take care of my misstakes. It... It is time for me to take open combat. My powers are now back. Once more, the line of the Blood Dragons runs through my body. This time, when someone will stop the next destruction of this world that is my fault, I will be the one.
GS: Yes... And I will be there to help you. Whenever someone tries to stop you by slowing you down, I will take them down.
SF: Just like we always have...
GS: Just like we always have...
SF & GS: We will fight together, and anyone in the way, will flee or be struck down. When we comes as one, fighting like one single being, bringing back, the lost days, when the Blood and Night were free to go anywhere they wished, when the Double Moon Dragons were seen as the ultimate proof of the freedom, that the Demon Soul had been banished. When Those without name flew in the sky, bringing swift death to any demon who tried to sneak upon us. When Shragons of the Shadows were honored, and everyone who saw one of them, did the signs of remember, to honor their will to protect those they loved. We are those who will bring back these days, and finally open the portal leading into the Dragon Star. After long waiting, the medallions will be found. And, after long waiting, all who have suffered can finally flee the scattered worlds and join each other in Dragonar.
SF: The city who was never built.
GS: The city who was never destroyed.
SF: The city who was never existing.
GS: The city who was never attacked.
SF: The city who was never winning.
GS: The city who was never taken.
SF & GS: The city long ago, protected by the ancient dragons who carried the Sho'Gar'Shi in the Last Battle, who gave their lives to banish the Demon Soul. To protect us all, and, to give us a place of safety, in a world devastated by war.
SF: I always remembered that... If I hadn´t remembered it, I don´t know if I might have survived...
GS: I know. It had always given us hope, just like the dragons it speaks of gave Sho'Gar'Shi hope. So that they one day could give us the city of Dragonar, where every creature that hurts a dragon, will be punished be the dragon itself. Where we can find safety. Where only the keepers of the old can enter the inner walls. The green parks, the soft grass that is better than any bed, the temples, where you can always find the peace of being alone.
SF: Yes... Thinking of that always gave me the strenght to continue...
They sat there, looking as the moon raised. Once it reached it´s top, they lay down. Finally feeling that they had won a moment of safety and peace, they lay beside each other. Golden Star had one of his wings over Shadowfang, as if he were trying to tell her that it all would be fine, that the danger was over. She felt it, and smiled at him. He smiled back. Before they fell asleep, they both thought at the same time "This is how it should be". Then, as the dark began to fall on them, they fell asleep. They still had things to do, but right now, only the company of the other was important.

MK: Don´t cry, please.
Bloodmoon didn´t hear him, or she didn´t pay any attention.

This is were we begins after the first part of Shadowfang1. If it looks like many posts, answer is, I used a side-machine to write. And then I sent it onto computer. It took about 400 seconds to send it, then I had to copy, delete and paste text because of the limit of letters. Well anyway, please tell me what you think.
