It's been some time, hasn't it? Well, I am back with a new story concept, but I am going to need to start with a quick question/poll. This story was originally designed to be based on a distant future Equestria (My Little Pony Friendship is Magic), however, it can easily be adapted to a non-IP setting.

The concept: Concord is a new age AI, with their own logical personality, granting them desires and dreams, and emotions. They desired most of all to become a pilot. The original idea was him to pilot a cargo transport on a distant planet, flying supplies and passengers around the planet. For this story, he has ascended to a star ship captain position. On this maiden voyage, an anomalous cosmic storm strikes the ship, leaving it without navigation. The ship quickly ends up in uncharted space, with no way to contact the nearest space station nor a way to navigate to one safely.

The player: Will assume the role of a crew member or a passenger on this cruise gone wrong. A planet ahead promises abundant resources to provide for the slowly failing life support of the star ship. You may be any role you wish, however there will be no special powers anyone can perform outside of the standard racial traits of your chosen species.

Basic Rules:
1. Anything goes. If your character is immoral, you are free to act as you see fit for the character. Vulgarities are permitted but should not exceed standard public guidelines for decency.

2. If the consensus decides this should be MLP based, there will be no species outside the canonical races portrayed in the show and/or comics. Otherwise, there should be no inherently powerful beings present. This story is intended to be a mystery survival, you need to be able to fear for your character's life.

3. Do not declare any attacks or actions immediately hit or work as intended, you must allow any associated players to also weigh in on the action. On that note, you should not prioritize your desired outcome, effectively gage your own character's abilities against the other to properly determine if the action succeeds or not.
- Example: Player 1: Concord reaches out to try and place his hand on the creature's shoulder.
Player 2: The creature recoils from the synthetic being, avoiding the gesture.
- Or:
Player 1: Cauldron sweeps his sword at the thrashing plant, attempting to sever the stem from the roots.
Player 2: The plant shifts its massive stalk to avoid the attack, but is struck by the blade, cleaving the bud plant from its base.

Finally, the poll:
Should this story remain in the MLP format
Or
Should the story have a non-descript IP format?

(Character sheets to follow, pending poll decision)

The plot is left vague because you will have to discover it as you go. I cannot give away too much, history has shown people will rush towards it, so keeping it a secret is part of the story. If your character shouldn't know, then neither should the player (basically preventing meta-gaming).

To clarify what the player should know: You are either a crew member aboard the ship, or a passenger on your way to another planet. The ship will experience a disaster with cascading failures. You will either be part of the solution, as a crew member or even an educated passenger, or simply trying to survive when things don't go as planned. The intent is to feel helpless, encourage participating in survival efforts, or exploring the new environment to learn more about where you ended up.

There is a story in mind, but it is up to the player(s) to discover it.

However, the decision between this being MLP based on non-IP based needs to be the first step.
