I dropped off the series for several years after I finished up Imaginators. I basically didn't look back and focused on the Switch, then got into retro game collecting for several years. I've reined back a bit on that collection, and I started playing the games and trying out some of my favorite figures again. I thought it was too simple at first, but as I played, I steadily remembered why I liked the series so much--the variety, the synergy between figures, and how lovely the collection looked gathered together. I've started actually cleaning the dust off, and the color still pops.

To anyone still active on the boards, how often do you go back to the series, and for how long? I'm intending on maybe getting the reposes I skipped back in the day and restarting my save files for Giants and Swap Force so their collection screens look more like my current collection, since I offloaded a number of variants a while back.

In a couple years, I plan to play through the series with my boyfriend! We would probably binge the games I have, so we would be into it for however long it takes us to get through at least Swap Force. I am pretty sure I have Trap Team, but I stopped playing around then, so I do not have many figures. I intend to collect everything, though, since once I start a series and like it, I will finish it to my standards!

its been a while now, but i plan on playing the ps4 version of swap force, trap team, superchargers (picked up these on sales in mint condition, been in my backlog for years). i have not played these versions yet since i only had the ps3 at the release of these games. so im just waiting for the perfect moment in october/november this year, that was the usual release of the skylanders games back then. so when the moment arrive i will pick up a bottle of wine and have great evening of skylanders again
