while i think the hate and controversy over AI is ridiculous mostly because this happens in society every time technology makes a leap onlt a human should have human rights because they are righrs made for a human. AI is a set of code in the simplest form of explanation just incredibly advanced. we are not yet to the point where the philosophy of ghost in the shell is relevant yet so we can speak about it more when we are there.

Also as for AI being more intelligent, it can only create something based on information that's already been given to it.

We should be more focused on ensuring human rights are given to people who have never been properly acknowledged.

A.I. is not a human. It says in its name: Artificial Intelligence. Are A.I.s sentient? Can they make their own rational thoughts and decisions? Do they have complex thoughts and humane morals? Do they understand the weight of their words? Do they have everything that makes a living human being...human?

No. Therefore, they should not have human rights. Show me an android like those in Detroit: Become Human, and then come talking to me, lol.
