After recently playing Spyro 1 on The reignited Trilogy, I've gotta say, it's a boring game. I don't understand why and how people enjoy the game so much. The only reason I got into the series is the fact how much positive reception it got. I just believe that people enjoy the game is because of nostalgia they had on their PS1's. I've enjoyed games like Crash Bandicoot. But this game seems to be boring. I find it to be a chore to go to levels, because of how repetitive it was. Flame this dude here, break this box here, glide to this part, and rinse and repeat. It isnt as interesting as Sonic The Hedgehog with its fast paced action. Not to mention the tracks are a disappointment as well. It wasn't as catchy as sonic music or crash music. Spyro is slow and I find it to be a problem. To be fair I am a sucker for 3D games as well. But I was drastically disappointed about Spyro the dragon because I thought it was going to be this wonderful game that is very fun. Looks like I was wrong. I've played better games like Crash Bandicoot, Super Mario, And Sonic The Hedgehog. And isomiac games already being a bigger company than Naughty Dog, I was expecting more.

dawn of thr dragon IS in fact OTP spyro game and I think everyone should just play that one instead

the legend trilogy (especially dawn of the dragon) is the best version of spyro. not that sissy classic spyro ****.

i could list down the many reasons why legend spyro is my favourite version of spyro. in fact let's list down the reasons i can before i fall asleep for my next work day.

-he does the right thing simply because it is the right thing.
-he never expects a reward after performing a good deed.
-he actually trains in his free time.
-he bothered to train in more than one element, and multiple techniques each.
-he reconstructed a planet by himself.
-he saves innocent lives no matter how much they shun, or hurt him
-he knows martial arts.
-he protects his sparx, not the other way around.
-the strongest incarnation to date.
-he does not steal from villages.
-he fights countless mighty enemies, and comes out on top.
-incorruptible. refuses to do the wrong thing no matter how pressured.

this character is the embodiment of what i desire to be. if i were to choose between entertaining a massive audience with a story of my own or be a mighty dragon with supermans personality i would choose the latter.

i do not believe there could even be consideration that dawn of the dragon is not dawn of the best
