tldr i dont belive any of the information is new but people reverse engineered some spyro engine stuff if i remember correctly and then acti told them to stop making fangames bc of reignited

funny because now spyro is back to dead

that crash bandicoot app he was in that was his most recent appearance i think has been abandoned too

poor spyro never even getting the attention crash does and whenever crash fails somewhere is just deemed well spyro has no shot then the he connection between the two series seems to have hurt spyro because crash is relied on to make an impression first it is weird

i was so sad when spring savanna got scrapped
