Breathing Spyro Dot Gif

I know that both myself and Danny have topics dedicated to posting the image in the corner, but tonight I want to put the focus on one image in particular:

Why is this an image that can appear? It unnerves me very deeply. Every other image that appears in the corner is but a humble PNG, and yet, there is a chance that this will appear. Suddenly, you will see something at the corner of your vision: a terrifying beast of motion. I do not even see this motion as breathing, but as pulsating... almost as if Spyro is slowly being infected by something very vile. I do not like it. I. Do not. Like it.

We have this opinion in common too. That GIF is creepy, somehow uncanny, especially because it’s seemingly the only GIF that comes up. It doesn’t feel like it’s supposed to be there. It feels like it is not simply a GIF, but a living program, perhaps the true admin which monitors us, but only shows itself occasionally, somewhat inconspicuously.

i am fully convinced that when i am elderly with cognitive decline i will still remember this gif. it sounds weird but it's like deeply ingrained in my childhood memories. the amount of times being like 10 y/o trying to find a guide for my game and seeing this gif in the corner. like i just REMEMBER it very well
