I was watching American TV and this ad for Kid Cuisine and this penguin dude came up. The food looked absolutely terrible, but I guess that's how TV dinners are. It's just weird seeing TV dinners marketed at kids.

Is this an actual thing people still eat? What did Kid Cuisine do to you?

Wow, that’s a real throwback. Yeah, Kid Cuisine was exactly as you described it, TV dinners for kids. I used to eat them a lot when I was little, though thinking back on it, they weren’t very good. I seem to recall leaving a lot of the ones I ate unfinished.

I haven’t seen them in years. Was the ad you saw recent-looking? Because if so, I’m surprised they’re still making them. They definitely seemed like more of a 2000’s-era kind of thing for me.

This thread made me look up Kid Cuisine and my goodness, what have they done to him?!

i dont think i ever had them but they gave me nightmares to think about.............poor children

Why did they give him anime eyes

it was gross but it had funny animal characters so i always wanted it

if im not mixing it up with other weird usa tv dinners there was one where youcould make a microwave brownie and it was nastyyy

It was a 2000's era one, the penguin basically lured them into a freezer and made them eat Kid Cuisine. Seeing the absolute abomination they've turned that penguin into now, I don't think they could remake it without the kids running away.
