Is nightmare before Christmas a Christmas movie or Halloween

I think it's a Christmas movie because that's when most of the movie takes place. And it's about the true meaning of Christmas

it's a halloween movie. it was released in october. also...

i was actually going to say it was a christmas movie because like gremlins of course but apparently it was released for halloween huh

i mean you would thiiiiiiiiinnnk its a christmas movie seeing as christmas is in the title right... but they marketed it as halloween what up with that i mean.............................. gremlins which people also argue is a christmas or halloween movie too came out on June 8th so i now count Gremlins as a late-spring cleaning movie THATS MY DECISION

I also think it is more interesting to consider it a Christmas movie because you do not see many Christmas movies with that kind of spooky/gothic aesthetic.

Gremlins is a pretty good Christmas movie that's kinda spooky and not full on horror
