apparently some dentists hand out toothbrushes which is kind of a buzzkill. free toothbrushes are ok though. just maybe give out candy too

^ unrelated to the topic at hand, but dentists here hand out free ice cream during the summer if the person does not have any cavities.

If dentists were smart, they would apply the same tactic with Halloween candy. No cavities? Get handed out candy...see what happens next...

i have really mixed feelings about the toothbrushes. on the one hand, dentists usually put their contact information on the toothbrushes as a form of advertising. on the other hand, a lot of the people who have use for the free toothbrushes cant afford dentistry
