Tangled

Rapunzel and Gothel is me and my mother for so many reasons on so many levels if you know the story of the movie Gothel is the women who raised her but isnt her real mother she kidnapped her as a child and the dynamic of the characters is very close to that of me and my mother and how i was basically present to be used by her so she could get what she wanted and + + + + the isolation theme very much lines up with my childhood which was again a result of my mother

for bonus points this story was very prominent in my childhood i would be read it before going to sleep often and the sky lanterns in the movie has also been something i have been obsessed with visually though mostly because of japanese culture references but yeah

Frozen

Elsa and Anna is pretty much one of the closest things i can get to me and Danny out of something in a movie like that i would say the difference being mostly in aspects of the personalities as Danny is much more zen and chill than i am and i would be more of the type to make jokes that arent really funny but expect him to laugh at it so Lindsey Elsa but mixed with more aspects of Anna and Danny Anna but mixed with some of the chill haha im funny get it get it of Elsa which is not to say that i didnt grow up with the mental fragility of Elsa or Danny doesnt have the weirdness to of Anna this is jus t the best way to explain it
