How do you guys feel about Taylor Swift having such a huge carbon footprint?

Personally myself I don't really think it's that serious. I think it's one of those times where people see a celebrity doing something bad and stick on to it to have a personal pat on the back for not doing that.

However I think there's a lot of misinformation about her having such a huge carbon footprint because of her private jet usage. The thing is it's not for personal usage. It's for her job. Taylor Swift had to use private jets to get around the world in a timely manner. She can't just use the subway or local airport because she is simply too famous. I know it sounds like a 1st world problem to be late for her job but she legitimately cannot be late to a concert.

Really I just think this whole fiasco a couple of days ago is just a way for people to be distracted with problems of the oil and gas industry because one celebrity causes more pollution because their job is traveling so it's easier to criticize.

i think the whole thing was stupid like you said not like she can just hop on metro and she travels so much to keep up with concerts and all that idk how else youre supposed to do it it sucks because pollution is bad and i feel very much for the situation we are currently in you know the earth literally dying on us but the fiasco shouldnt be tied around tay or any other celeb we should be pointing fingers at idk.... really i dont i guess jet companies or whoever makes this stuff to find ways to fuel and create these things without them being pollution monsters there has to be a way to lessen the damage like i think no matter what theres going to be damage by these kinds of inventions but these companies to my knowledge should have the means to put these things out there with much less of a carbon footprint by this point then they are right now
