some japanese and no i dont think so generally i do think that that word cringe is pretty cringe though but this is a weird paradox of being cringe now the point to be these kinds of things exist and most people say them every day without realizing thats how they started for example let me se another culture i am personally attached to the french people frequently use french in day to day life but no one thinks about it like someone makes a snarky remark to you and you respond touche! you just did it right there! c est la vie is another commonly used or known french word. or how about the german gazuntite/gesundheit when someone sneezes you did it there too! or how about when you tell someone what your shtick is your shtik is yiddish from german stuck

yes it can feel cringy when you have that over enthusiastic weeby white friend who yells out KAWAII at everything and wants to put honorifics at the end of your name like Lindsey-chan you just replied to somePerson-sans topic! yeah... okay it does feel a little much but when you like ask actual Japanese people if youre doing it respectfully not to insult or mock the japanese culture then japanese people in fact do like sharing their culture and seeing other people get into it spend a day or two in japan and youll see as a foreigner your enthusiasm for japanese culture is normally pretty well received by the japanese

theres this video where someone japanese talks about soemthing like this whenthere was that one cosplayer who people tried to get mad at and called her cultrual appropriation because of her using the word kawaii ...yeah ridiculous in the video you have a japanese guy telling you it is ridiculous reading comments from japanese people in japane saying that its riduclous Danny do you have that video it owould probably be good to help with the point

but yeah i was in the mood to type today so no i dont think that as a concept using japanese words in everyday english conversation is cringy to think that japanese is cringy when people use other words that have been adapted to english-speaking cultures or are used ironically or unironically from other languages but to treat japanese as cringe is again to me a little bit racist in fact because i believe that people see it as specifically cringe because they think of the stereotypical anime super duper weeb fan when they here it and it diminishes the value of the very beautiful language of japanese and yeah what it can add to conversation or cultures that other languages just cannot do or express so

Nah, even in Japan you can find stuff like shirts littered with random english phrases like "CUTE" and "SEMEN ANHILATOR" so it's pretty mutual.
