science and science fiction cyberpunk future stuff computer and technology

or

fantasy and spells magic and fairies and middle ages and poof

do you have a preference for one or the other

why do you

how did you get into it

and what to you is a good example of that

i prefer

science

i dont know ever since i was little i was always into more cyberpunk and technology stuff it could be because i had very little of it no computer i grew up in the 90s still with an old school atari and nintendo and to me maybe just felt a little more cool and out there in school my favorite subject between the main course you get was science and i was good at it i always liked the idea of the internet ahahahahahahahahahahaha little did i know... and cyber punk aesthetics always appealed to me more i always felt more comfortable in a technology setting opposed to a strict fantasy one and i love writing stories that are heavy on science and being practical and using knowledge and brain power to get through stuff the whole aesthetic of technology and cyber punk stuff too is just very very very very cool to me i think

i like both but fantasy usually has more dragons, so in theory i lean more towards fantasy
