*kracks knuckles* ok guys im gonna tell you about chickens. for some reason there's a universal stigma against them and i don't know why. as soon as someone has a chicken, someone's neighbor is crying about it. my chickens give me great happiness and they're on the same level as cats/dogs to me. i've raised chickens from babies a few times and its honestly one of my favorite things to do. they all have individual personalities and their interactions with each other are so funny. seriously every time they see my car drive by they come SPRINTING. they don't for any other cars. i think i've spent hours just ranting to my chickens. even though they don't know what you're saying they LOVE it when you talk to them. esp in a baby voice. last year someone dumped 5 chickens down the street and i drove over to go find them. they were terrified and it was so sad. squatting down and talking to them in a baby voice is how i caught them all in like 2 minutes. they love their humans and they deserve way better. i do all kinds of stuff for my chickens like make them pancakes, baby food, and i spent a LOT of money on treats. they are living their best life
going clockwise starting from the black chicken: shelly, betty, ramen, pasta, waddles, turkles, and marshmallow

OTTERS. otters are amazing in so many ways. the fact that there are states where you can own a pet otter and i'm not in one is abhorrent and fills me with envy.

oh think ferrets are really underrated theyre such cuties idk why but i always liked them specifically since i was little maybe its because i secretly somehow relate to the ferret theyre like other ode t like mammals only loner taller and can be quite comically clumsy and goofy theyre almost like others like them but something is clearly off but beside any of that stuff plus theyre just so adorable look at them

Bruh my son Keanu Reeves the hamster died at the age of 2. From old hamster age because they only live for like 2 years (5 years if ya hamster is a odd af veteran). Ya'll need to tame them super early.

That said I say hamster too. A lot of companies that even seem to care for them do a **** job at making decent cages for them and it really blows. Out of domestic pets I would say the hamster gets the short stick when it comes to actually decent supplies for them.

^ Apparently it's more of a shallow seabed dweller. The color's suited for blending in with coral reefs.
Also, while not specific to the peacock variety, mantis shrimps are well-known for having specialized claws for dealing with prey. Some have harpoon-like claws for spearing their food, while others have club-shaped hands they smash their prey to bits with. The latter have to been known to smash their way out of aquariums, so they're kept in tanks with reinforced glass.

Here you can see one attacking a clam:

i will also show to you all the ghost shark

i dont know why but i find them to be incredibly adorable

[User Posted Image]

they're genetically related to sharks skates and rays and apparently have lurked the bottoms of the ocean for millions of years theyre a deep seas fish which i happen to very much love deep sea fish! and this one were talking around 2600 meters deep too!

[User Posted Image]

despite the cute handheld one in the first pic they can grow up to a crazy five feet long

[User Posted Image]

theyres a few different kinds and they have a venomous spine! they also are a scaleless smooth skin fish!

[User Posted Image]

they are also called rabbit fish and spook fish in some places but theyre more technical name is chimaera from the order of chimaeriformes

i can almost see it wink in this pic

[User Posted Image]

i think they need a little love cutey fish
