Krome and Academy cynders only, everywhere else ehhhhhhh

I used to hate her color scheme because her secondary color was pink, but nowadays i know it goes hard

i used to really hate her but she's fine

her characterization in dotd is a bit more cheesy/girlbossy than what'd id do with her but her portrayal in media generally is fine

NGL my 9-11 year old ass did start to hate Cynder for a bit due to all the ****ing shippers not shutting the hell up about their Spyro x Cynder headcanons in 2006 and 2007 (thanks a lot ELB for playing into that BTW!), but I've mellowed out a lot on that the last 13+ years.

the thing that got me was that an argument broke out every time she was brought up for a good while on here for one reason or the other made the character super unpleasant to talk about haha. we need to channel the 9-11 year old you and to make it fun the 9-11 year old Danny and watch you guys duke it out

It's more surprisingly that there's people that didn't; Aura still tells me about weirdos that go to her video about why the ship was rushed to go "how dare you criticise the greatest love story in gaming". The video is like several years old by itself too

my only defense to that is everything else was just as much rushed throughout the game some storylines even more so rushed at least for me it wasnt a surprise the ship went canon it was pretty much like yeah duh once i realized cynder was a girl lol. i thought she might have been a boy at first

I know not every Legend fan is like this, but whenever I see someone say that the Legend games are the best games ever and are so deep, I just sigh and think to myself "there's so many better beat-em-ups/hack-and-slashes out there". ANB and TEN aren't awful games, but they're far from being the best games in that genre. The story in the games are also so superficial and cobbled together that it just falls apart if you think about it even a little.

Yeah for sure, and that's fine too and so many people don't get it. TEN is my favorite Spyro game, but I don't call it a masterpiece in videogames, even if the GBA version deserves extra props. Liking the thing doesn't mean the thing is inherently better than others, and all that.
