Of course I'll keep my excitement to a minimum until the game is released, but I must say that Frontiers is looking really promising concept-wise. Hoping this is a step in the right direction for Sonic and that it incorporates the adventure-style gameplay, the boost gameplay and new styles of gameplay. I also hope 2D sections and Classic Sonic sections are not in this game (I'm a weird sonic fan that only likes the 3D games lol). Hopefully gameplay footage isn't that far away.

I think Sonic needs a new refreshing take on the main series, and hopefully Frontiers will be that. It would be great to have a 3D Sonic game that is as good as 3D Mario games (I much prefer Mario to Sonic, though I'd play the Sonic Adventure games over Mario 64 any day).

Hoping that Frontiers also takes full advantage of the new generation of hardware and blows us away visually. I feel like we haven't seen a visually impressive 3D Sonic game since Unleashed. SEGA's comments about Frontiers has been promising too, but we'll have to wait and see if their words reflect the final product.

Premiere is out! Still meh hype, but it's not looking like it's bad, so that's something...?

Still need to see the combat though, there's many a fangame if it's just to run around and do baby puzzles.

i think my one complaint is that it looks so empty. makes sense bc its open world but im not used to sonic just being on his own so much
