so i don t really play games unless they start with “puyo puyo” and end with tetris/2” and the only other game i m specific interested in is gran turismo 7 then i look at the price tag and it s like……….. 70???? for real???? i forgot this is standard that games mostly cost around 60-70 and it s another reason i can t justify myself trying to be into games like…… i remember when games costed 20 what happened

you guys know way more about games than i do but this is to me so unreasonable do these games give me the power to fly or read minds or something

the $70 increase is gonna be why the gaming subscription are gonna take off in a few years

holy **** $120 for a game are you kidding me i would not even consider it that **** would be pirated or not worth the trouble period at that price what the freak also the last console i tried was ps4 after having not tried one since the Wii but since my tetris is on pc anyway i never needed a console and to play GT7 i would need to shell out what 5 thousand for the ps5 and another 12 dozen for the game what s a controller worth these days $100?... and i know nothing about gaming subscription stuff but if we re talking like netflix but with video games that would be way better then those inflated prices for games

this is why growing up i was always a generation behind in games an atari until 64 came out a nintendo until the next so on so forth

so now im seeing games for like 80 what is this

also what is the point in buying a game for thag price when over the next 4 years theyre just going to release the super the ultimate the champions and the master class editions of the game that will run it up from 80 to 150 quick

artificial scarcity or something idk

its crazy i cannot accept the idea of paying that much for a single video game that is a bill if not a bill and a half i could pay if you count dlc right there

A lot games back then were sold for about 100 dollars usd after inflation so video games have actually gotten cheaper lol. Video games have always been a luxury industry so if you don't like it don't buy it. The reason why the prices increase for certain games is because of the industry getting super popular.

“so if you dont like it dont but it” well i dont play video games so im doing it right! maybe it was where i lived and mom and pop stores but new games were around 20 dollars even back then that wasnt too bad i’m talking game starting at 80 and only being a broken half game only for 70 dollars more of dlc to bring it up to “okay… now this feels like its worth about 40 dollars” its those games that im sorry are way overpriced for little colors that go boop boop on the screen for example if i go on steam i can get the one game im still into to puyopuyo tetris 2 for 30 now that’s fair enough of a price to me
