so Lindsey is not feeling 100 percent today and i have a looooot of stuff that i need to do and i want a cigarette to relieve the stress and the pressure of it and kind of chill me out a little bit convince me not to do it

cigarettes are expensive the cheapest pack here is $5.82 buy one pack a day for a year thats $2,124 you couldve used that money to go on vacation

Cigarettes are genuinely toxic to the human body and you are doing no favors for yourself by smoking one.

^this is entirely true which is proven by the fact that i still crave for cigarettes like 10 years down the line Lindsey probably doesn t have the healthiest body but i don t smoke like a pack a day they are an emotional crutch for those moments where i m like uh uh no way

Because if ever once in my life I thought smoking was a good idea (I never have and never will), it would be enough to scare me away from it.

for extreme stress yeah like i know what everyone said in this topic is right and i shouldn t do it but.... you know

It may taste amazing, it may feel amazing and it might relax you after long day of dealing with the real life (...oh dear, I'd kill for vanilla-scented cigar right now... NO!). But remember that there will be the following days when your fingers smell amazing... NO! I understand addiction but I also understand that the days of sobriety are way better than those little moments of self-indulgence and self-betrayal. I haven't been addicted to smoking but whenever I've broken out of my own deadly vice, I have always felt fresh and more motivated and have always felt a sensations of having more focused purpose in life.

I am not going to motivate or tell you to do anything. All I'd like you to do is to be moderate. Once in a blue moon won't harm you or make you better. But remember to be considerate and patient in usage so that you won't do any harm to you or the people you love.
