This, too, actually.

The fact that if I do well and all goes according to plan, I'll finally have my own independence. Tho my crippling anxiety, co-dependency issues and fears of being alone really put a damper on things lol

Other people motivate me. Listening to songs from my favorite music artists motivates me to become a better musician myself. Just seeing how good of a person is is enough to make me say, "Wow, I want to be more like them." And my friends. I want to be a better person for my friends.
