Mystery Dungeon has been very chill, can confirm.

Kirb and Hollow Knight also aren't so bad, *mostly* rude people don't stick around for long since they're not exactly cute things to hide one's horrible attitude in.

overwatch fandom can be hit or miss depending on what fandom you're part of. there's one part that's just toxic gamers, toxic yaoi artists, and those chill people you can talk to about overwatch league with. the pokemon community on twitch is very sweet too. :)

metal gear, hands down. ive very rarely encountered someone even remotely rude or weird in the MGS fanbase. great jokes and really helpful and kind no matter what

back in the stone ages I was on MGSforums.com or whatever and all everyone talked about was how much better red dead redemption was than MGS4

Personally fandoms have always been just the same to me.
If I had to pick one, hmm since I've became a fan of Hololive around January 2020, I've never really felt disappointed. I mean there's the bad eggs...just like every where, but is not as common as with other fandoms I've been in...as of now. To be honest, this goes not just Hololive but V-Tubers. Nijisanji, ViVid, VOMs, or independent ones like Nekomiya Hinata. Always love discussing them and their videos with other people. All conversations have been very open-minded and chill.

gravity falls was real fun while it lasted . the clues being solved collectively as a fanbase over like 4 years was really cool and it never got too heated like steven universe. also have fond memories of steven but there were definitely some obvious low points there that bog it down

siivagunner also has a pretty bangin community

honestly, i'm not incredibly involved in many fandoms, but my experiences in the spyro fandom and the utena fandom have been good.

i tend to be pretty reclusive, though, which i think has minimized my involvement in serious drama... being reclusive comes with downsides, too

I enjoyed my time in the fanfic side of the Kid Icarus fandom! Made lots of good writer friends and we all read/critiqued each other's work and pushed each other to explore new territory/characters. I didn't get get too into the art side, though I dabbled a little, but I did love seeing the work from the familiar faces!

This site, hands down.

Ace Attorney fandom has been pretty fun, but I wouldn’t exactly call it healthy. I think that’s the problem with fandoms with a lot of shipping; it gets too heated.

(I’d say Kid Icarus has been my best experience but I don’t think it counts as being in a fandom if you just stay within a group of friends.)

Fullmetal Alchemist is like my favorite fandom to be in because of the science and big brain time everyone puts into their thoughts and feelings for the show. the show helped me get over my dad dying but it also made me a better human
