They're truly unrepresented and unappreciated animals. I don't think I've seen one in a museum yet. Must've missed them.

It’s called Pristichampsus and lived during the Eocene. At least I’m assuming it’s a Pristichampsus. The image of it chomping on early horses pops up whenever I look for paleoart of it.

It only really looks big because Eocene horses were small.
