Which element are you supposed to use on the elite when its mask is red and white with a green glow? I've tried just about everything...

Where is the elite?

Twilight Falls, but on a previous file, it was in Valley of Avalar.

Twilight falls: use spyros earth
Vally of avalar : if red then use cynders fear, if yellow then use spyro yellow power

Those elites are quite weak chickens

yeah, i defeated the toughest elite in the game with a fury breath and it only took me 6 seconds to kill it

First and the second elite enemy is really easy to kill.For first,I'm use Cynder's Shadow and when is his mask ''fly away'',I am just grab him
With second is the same thing,just I'm use earth.

Is it possible to hit it with earth boulder? Or will I have to upgrade and come back later?

Yes,if you mean on that big Earth ball than you can.
If you have PS2 or PS3,then hold R2 and cube,you will see that earth ball is start to roll in one spot,when you ready,release cube.Then you will see what will happen next

I rare use fury for elite enemies.I use it if is really necessary.

just use fury for the hard elite enemies when you have got their mask of

Yeah,then I use fury if I can't take that mask of.

in twilight falls on my game that elite is allways wearing the earth mask,its easyer to upgrade ur earth breath to level 1 and use spyros earth missle,it takes the mask off the elite in one hit I like elite enemyes (just the little ones)
