I wish I was making up. I wish the people who are saying it's true are making it up because it's too ridiculous to believe.



If it's true, then Google must have at least one killer app to justify buying their console. It can't be a live service or have a giant open world map like RDR2, Just Cause 4, etc. It has to be something akin to other killer apps like Tetris, F-Zero, Super Mario 64, SoulCalibur, Halo and Wii Sports. I know it's a lot of pressure but Google must give us a reason on why we want a brand new console outside the big three.

I think it'll be one of those streaming services that died on its botty-boo-boo like OnLive or some sort of GoogleOS thing (like AndroidOS game "consoles" that also died on their botty-boo-boos), but if it's a fully fledged gaming machine it'll be nice to have some serious competition.

It's Google. People will buy it for that alone. It could be fake dog poo and people would buy it if it was branded by Google. It might not do well, but it's not like Google can fail at this point tbh. Amazon's also in the game industry because it's no longer just a store, like Google's no longer a search engine.
