Me: I like RPG video games
Meaning: I like The Witcher 3, Dragon Quest etc..

Guy: So do you like table top RPGs?

Me: No wtf how are they even the same thing

Because of superficial knowledge of pop culture. Just like every plataformer is Mario, every sassy mascot is Sonic, and every shooter is COD; every RPG must be D&D.

I just like all RPGs I’ve played (video game or otherwise) RPGs are my favourite I love roleplaying (but not in a kinky way I swear)
