Prolouge
In the year of the dragon, in a world beyond the realms. I like all the others awaited the birth of the dragon whom the prophocies fortold. But The Dark Master heard the prophicies as well. I should have hidden the eggs long before, but I thought we were ready...I thought they were safe. Oh how I was wrong...

Part One: Seeing and Catching are two different things
"8, 9, 10. Here I come," Spyro shouted happily spinning round from his counting position. He squinted his eyes, scanning the marshy swamp for his friend Sparx the Dragonfly. He took a few spaces forward, looking left from right. Spyro could sense that Sparx was close...Too close. He started to pretend he was still searching forwards but enexpectidly turned round, to meet face to face with his friend. Sparx circled around his head, which confused him a bit, then buzzed off behind a tree. This didn't fool Spyro.
"I see you my little glowing friend."
"Seeing and catching are two different things, big boy," Said Sparx, fluttering up off the path. Spyro laughed a bit.
"Heh heh, Yeah you better run!"

Part Two: So much for graditude
Spyro scampered up the small path, running up a hill, constantly keeping an eye on Sparx. At one point he stopped at the Three-sec Branches. You simply step on hem more than 3 seconds and the droop down, leaving you to fall into the gooe below. Sparx zoomed over them. And then smiled at Spyro.
"Oh what's the matter little Spyro can't fly? Oh yeah that's right you walk everywhere, oh no that's too bad." And flew off again.
"Your toast when I catch you!" Spyro yelled. So with all his determination to catch his friend, he charged over the Three-Sec Branches and made it to the other side where Sparx was backing away from him.
"Heh heh, must be tough to lose all the time hey Sp-Ah!" Sparx was cut off. The Frogweed behind had swalloed him.
"Ah! Alright let me outta here you over grown fungas! Spyro do something!" He demaned. Spyro sniggered.
"Gee Sparx Frogweed gotta eat too."
"Spyro, come on, I'm your buddy. Whack it!" Spyro did so reluctantly. Sparx was immediatley splurted out, smacking into Spyro's chest then peeled off falling to the ground.
"Ergh, now smell as almost as bad as you do. Hoo hoo hoo, and that's pretty bad. See ya later sucker!" Once again the little pest was out of sight.
"So much for graditude." Spyro murmered before following.
